L'Associazione culturale LEM-Italia nasce per sostenere il progetto franco-italiano "Lingue d'Europa e del Mediterraneo" (LEM), ideato e diretto da Henri Giordan. Si tratta di un portale internet destinato a diventare un'enciclopedia evolutiva delle lingue d'Europa e del Mediterraneo. Le azioni sviluppate da LEM sono a carattere di ricerca scientifica, di divulgazione e di formazione. Tra queste figurano la Collana di studi Lingue d'Europa e del Mediterraneo, la descrizione sul web delle lingue d'Italia con il coinvolgimento di specialisti e di membri delle varie comunità alloglotte, il convegno internazionale annuale e itinerante "Giornate dei Diritti Linguistici"

Brycchan Carey is an academic and author specialising in the history and culture of slavery and abolition in the British Empire. This site offers pages dedicated to black British writers before 1850, in particular Ignatius Sancho, Olaudah Equiano, and Ottobah Cugoano, as well as resources for the study of slavery, abolition, and emancipation, British Abolitionists, and e-texts of otherwise difficult-to-obtain texts, such as eighteenth-century poems about slavery. You will also find images and opinions about Cornwall, Brycchan's childhood home, and Gamlingay, Brycchan's current home. Brycchan's most recent book, on the birth of American antislavery, is From Peace to Freedom.

The Network aims to bring together departments and individuals from across the world who work on aspects of Classical Reception.

CEATL is an international non-profit association (AISBL) under Belgian law, officially created in 1993 as a platform where literary translators' associations from different European countries could exchange views and information, and join forces to improve status and working conditions of literary translators.

he primary aim of DOAB is to increase discoverability of Open Access books. Academic publishers are invited to provide metadata of their Open Access books to DOAB. Metadata will be harvestable in order to maximize dissemination, visibility and impact. Aggregators can integrate the records in their commercial services and libraries can integrate the directory into their online catalogues, helping scholars and students to discover the books. The directory will be open to all publishers who publish academic, peer reviewed books in Open Access and should contain as many books as possible, provided that these publications are in Open Access and meet academic standards.

Izzui is a social media app uniquely focused on E-Learning in Facebook. Izzui made its debut to the technology start-up community at TechCrunch Disrupt on Monday, September 10th, in San Francisco. TechCrunch Disrupt is one of the most anticipated technology conferences of the year.
