The Networked Student was inspired by CCK08, a Connectivism course offered by George Siemens and Stephen Downes during fall 2008. It depicts an actual project completed by Wendy Drexler's high school students. The Networked Student concept map was inspired by Alec Couros' Networked Teacher. I hope that teachers will use it to help their colleagues, parents, and students understand networked learning in the 21st century.

You can layer in web links, videos, assignments and quizzes-opening up limitless opportunities to engage students, foster analysis and writing skills, and assess student progress. Subtext supports the Common Core Standards across reading, language, writing and 21st century digital skills.

The downloads are available in mp3 and in m4b audio book format for iTunes and the iPod. The advantage of using the iPod format is that it remembers where you stop in a file. The iTunes player software is available for free download here.
