I've noticed that since the latest Diigo toolbar update, which I installed yesterday, the toolbar no longer works...at all, on either of my machines, WIndows nor Mac.
Next, there is an intermittent problem in "My Bookmarks," which is that sometimes it is not possible to expand comments/clips. At this moment, if I click "Expand," nothing happens. I have had this happen before, and then all was back to normal, and then it happened again...and then normal...and now again.... This has been one of the only major issues that has prevented me from completely switching from Furl to Diigo. I'm just not sure it's reliable enough yet.
Keep up the hard work guys. This is shaping up to be a great (the best) personal archiving service out there.
The toolbar doesn't work for me either, luckily one can use the bookmarklet until it gets fixed. Here's a picture of the current toolbar with my Windows Firefox v2.0.0.4:
Yes! That's exactly what my toolbar looks like as well. Clicking on any of the buttons does nothing. Also, if I go into preferences and configure the buttons that I want to see, and the ones I don't, and then restart Firefox, then they are all back to the default settings again...and still don't work.
True, the Diigolet can work in a pinch, but it is more limited in terms of features. And for some reason, though it works fine on my PC, it appears not to be working on my Mac (i.e. hangs up when trying to sign me in).
On the second problem, I may have figured it out. If I go to My Bookmarks by navigating to Diigo on my own, I cannot expand clips and comments. (Yes, I am signed in.) However, if I navigate to My Bookmarks from the Diigolet, they expand and collapse just fine. Weird. In retrospect, I think that my past experience of having it work sometimes and not work other times may have been tied to this phenomenon--i.e. it worked or didn't based on how I got there. I probably didn't recognize the differences before, though.
OK...a little more playing has led to another clue as to the second problem.
If I log in via the Diigo homepage, then I am taken to "/user/transtracker" and I am NOT able to expand or collapse. If I navigate to My Bookmarks through the Diigolet, it takes me to "/user/TransTracker", in which case I CAN expand and collapse.
I've tested and figured out that its whether "TransTracker" has caps or not that determines whether expand/collapse works.
Next, if I go to "public view," it takes me to "/user/Transtracker" (yet a third iteration), in which case, yet again, public comments and clips are not viewable when I click "expand."
TransTracker and spiralfunk: We can't reproduce the bug here. Coud your send us your FF profile by following instructions in http://groups.diigo.com/Diigo_HQ/forum/topic/550 ? This may help us fix the bug. Thanks.
Thanks for sending over your profile - it's helpful. we found the problem - it's caused by a conflict with another extension "All-in-One Sidebar" Will send you both the latest toolbar to see if that solves the problem.
Meanwhile, anyone with the same issue, please email us at info at diigo dot com to request the latest toolbar.

The second problem - we can't reproduce the expand comments one without your password - would you mind reset a temp password and email to us?

I hope that helps you sort out what is going on.

btw. the Forum Alert message has a small error too.. it says e.g.
" Read the original message at http://group.diigo.com/Diigo_HQ/forum/topic/533 "
When the URL that works is "http://groupS.diigo.com....."
