After a long wait, Google Drive is now available for the iPad with the full functionality of the web-based version of Google Drive. To refresh, Google Drive is the new name for the Google Docs Suite. This suite includes Google Docs, Spreadsheets, Presentations, Forms, and Folders.
This week the focus is iPad and Web 2.0 Tools Tutorials. These tutorials will support teachers to effectively embed technology into their Literacy and Numeracy programs.

I really love the way that Monarch Academy Elementary (Primary) Librarian Keisa Williams has incorporated Google forms into her already excellent library wiki. Students get involved in the library and get experience using web 2.0 tools such as Google Docs, while Keisa gets an organised documents with records of all student requests, along with names, date of request and so on.
A discussion of the difference between Multiple Intelligences & Learning Styles, as well as three tips for teachers:
1. Individualize your teaching as much as possible. Instead of "one size fits all," learn as much as you can about each student, and teach each person in ways that they find comfortable and learn effectively
2. Pluralize your teaching. Teach important materials in several ways, not just one
3. Drop the term "styles." It will confuse others and it won't help either you or your students."
This is a performing group for children. Recommended age group of 3 to 7. All of our year preps, ones and twos have found this performance very entertaining and enjoyable. Focus on healthy eating, healthy choices.
