This site enables you to see what is going on in Australia and around the world. I use the Calendar of Events to see what is coming up and to also remind me of what is coming up. I am then able to prepare lessons or focus on an event and obtain information that is required, to share with the classes and my colleagues. Very, very helpful :)

You are able to find this year's theme for book week and all the necessary merchandise and many ideas that you may implement into this years theme. You can also find the short listed books for this year (eventually)

I describe this site to my classes as an online (electronic) reading log. I feel that they are able to understand it better if I use that phrase, as many children think that they need to log in and read books from the site.

This is a performing group for children. Recommended age group of 3 to 7. All of our year preps, ones and twos have found this performance very entertaining and enjoyable. Focus on healthy eating, healthy choices.

'The Wrong Book' by Nick Bland NIck Bland is a wonderful author and illustrator. This year, National Simultaneous Storytime is on Wednesday 22nd of May at 11am. NSS is an inspirational event.

This is an annual event that not only brings people together, it also gives hope, inspiration and a sense of community. I am able to obtain all the information required to host such an event from this site.
