vRecorder - 0 views

The vRecorder reminded me of all the movies wherein someone had a secret recording device in their pocket to frame the bad guy. I posted this site for everyone who would like to keep a private Journal - electronically! The site gives you a realistic, "leather bound" journal with lined paper in it which you can use for notes, thoughts, feelings, lists, story ideas or anything else that you would like to write about. You can keep it private or you can share it if you wish. It's saved in the "Cloud" so wherever you are, there it is! It's free for a good basic version and $19 per year for the full blown "Pro" version with all the bells and whistles. Enjoy!

Fiona, this site is awesome! I have already started my own journal and am considering going pro. Thanks for finding and sharing this site.

This is primarily an academic research tool (recommended by Dave MacCourt at the UMass Library.) Since it works with multiple sources outside acedemia (including wikkis) it would be a great way to organize sources for news/magazine articles.
  •
A personal research assistant. Zotero is the only research tool that automatically senses content, allowing you to add it to your personal library with a single click. Whether you're searching for a preprint on arXiv.org, a journal article from JSTOR, a news story from the New York Times, or a book from your university library catalog, Zotero has you covered with support for thousands of sites.
