This is an AWESOME website for parents, teachers and students to use in order to remain safe online. I really like how many tips are provided for parents. The website breaks down tips for how much independence and use online children should be provided. While exploring the site, I thought that it was very helpful and user friendly. Overall, if I were a parent this website would be very helpful.

don Quijote is a company that has been around since the 1980s and is most widely known for their language immersion schools in Spain and Latin America. Their website contains a lot of valuable information about Spanish teaching and learning, including this page on culture.

This is a very safe website for students to look up information. It is very basic and very limited but the facts are accurate. It's a great place for Elementary to go to if they are doing a fact chart or basic report on an animal, country, or dinosaur. Its a neat website but little annoying because when ever you go back to home page you get the welcome announcement and I couldn't find anywhere to turn it off, accept for mute on my volume

Probably better for older students, So Just offers links to speeches, songs, poems, letters, etc. Could be used as discussion starters as well as for their own literary merits.

This website allows you to take elements from three different flags and combine them into something new. Have the students research the flags and the symbolism that they contain. Then they will have the opportunity to explain the significance of those flags as their own symbols.

The content of the books seems to have an emphasis on fairy tales, folklore, and diverse cultures. It looks like a good website where orchestra students could do research on composers other than white male Europeans, specifically African American composers

This website if good because it gives teachers a lot of good information about teaching different ethnicities. It also has good activities to do with students that I could do with my middle school homeroom.
