The International Children's Digital Library has children's picture books written in English and other languages. The content of the books seems to have an emphasis on fairy tales, folklore, and diverse cultures. From their mission statement, "to excite and inspire the world's children to become members of the global community - children who understand the value of tolerance and respect for diverse cultures, languages and ideas -- by making the best in children's literature available online."

Great site for both teachers and student. Definitly more of a high school level, great for finding primary sources.

Great site for students and teachers. Lots of games and information about different aspects of music. Includes a free classical music library.

Virtual Field Trips is a website that takes teachers and students on field trips via the internet. Categories are Career Technical, Fine Arts, Foreign Language, Health and PE, Language Arts, Math, Library media, Professional Development, Science, Social Studies, Technology and Other. As I searched around it looked like several of the field trips use our Sea Monkey as their web site composer of choice. Uen.org is the URL. At the bottom of the page we can click on "contact us" which takes us to a page where we can put in our contact information so they can get back to us. There is an 800 number to call. The website is based in Utah. Uen stands for Utah Education Network partnered with Utah State Office of Education and Higher Ed Utah, which is in Salt Lake City.

Reliable site foor student to look up information. Multiple resources with videos, pictures as well as text on multiple subjects.

This site offers historical documents and primary sources of information. This is a good reference for students to refer to when they write reports and give class presentations.

At the world fact book a student can do in depth preliminary research on any of the "266 world entities". A student can find a country's flag, birthrate, international disputes, economy, airports, and much more in a relatively easy to use menu.

This site is a great resource for students and teachers for educational sites for all grade levels and subject areas.

Is a website of virtual manipulatives in the categories of algebra, geometry, measurement, data analysis and probability for students k - 12.

Web site with information about and access to books by American Indian authors. Great resource when wanting to add multicultural literature to your classroom library.
