    I included this resource because it gives a wide variety of applications that other teachers agree are great for classroom use. These apps help with many of the 21st century learning skills I will need to be teaching in my classroom, so I think this is an important source to note to aid me in that process

    This site would be fun for kids to browse because you can look up facts, experiments, projects, do quizzes, and play games. This site could be used in class if you wanted children to look through the site and pick out facts that interest them or if they are researching something.

    This is a Science site. I chose this one because of the amount of information it had. There are experiments that you can perform with your students as a teacher. It has some cool facts and games as well. Also, there are some quizzes and lessons to test the students with how much knowedge they remember from the day beore when teaching on a Science lesson.

    This website offers alot of things for students. It gives you quizzes and games to help the understanding. It has alot of facts for many sub topics of science. The site is designed for kids in the grade school level.It offers links, projects ideas, and videos. This is a great site for teachers to show their students to play around with and use for any science help. I would highly recommend this for any teacher to use in K-8.

    Science for kids is useful for kids and teachers. There are specific lessons that teachers can utilize, that include fun interactive games, experiments, and worksheets for the students. Teachers can also prepare students by using quizzes as a "pre-test."

    This website seems like a website that students will really enjoy. It seems to be packed full with information and there are so many different topics that teachers can pick from. There are different sections on this website like facts, experiments, games, quizzes, lessons, and videos. I think this website is a really great website that teachers should take advantage of and let their students explore on.

    Educational Games (1): This website is full of information for students, but contains a section on educational games for older students. There is a list of the Top 10 Most Visited Educational Games that deal with Science/problem solving topics. The games contain a rationale that must be achieved during play. Teachers can link the games to what is currently being taught in the classroom--DNA, cells, etc. This is a great website for unique games that can be used in the classroom that aren't just time-wasters.

    Providing educators and students access to the highest quality practices and resources in reading and language arts instruction. This site is a great tool for any teacher. It gives you alot of information on classroom management, after school activities, and professional development. It is a great tool for any teacher.

    Language Arts/Reading (2): This website is a great teacher resource that contains interactives, printouts, and other useful tools for the classroom. It is well-organized and easy to use. It is broken down into age categories/grades (elementary through high school). There is a section for parents that contains extended activities, projects, podcasts, etc. that students can complete outside of school which I think is a neat feature. The resources gathered on this website are numerous and helpful. As a future teacher, I would see myself using the Classroom Resources section in order to supplement my lesson plans and include technology in the classroom.

    Providing educators and students access to the highest quality practices and resources in reading and language arts instruction. This website has lesson plans and interactive tools to help teach different topics in language arts. I would use this website for the lesson plans (a couple already piqued my interest!) and I played around with some of the games and can see how it will help students strengthen their writing skills.

    Boardmaker is a website that helps with special education educators in speech and language pathologist, occupational therapists' behavioral therapists, while making sure to find, create, organize and deliver customized visual support, with activities in the classroom. How I would use this as a tool in my classroom is that it can help me manage and assign student activities from anywhere, it helps collect data for IEP goals and educational standards.

    For this website they have different educational games you can buy for different age groups to help them learn or work on their motor skills. How I would use this in the classroom is based on the educational game I buy I can use them to teach subjects in the classroom or students can use and play with them during recess or down time, or to help them with any issues they need to work in.

    For this website it has a variety of different apps and websites for students to use along with the teacher, for example there is an app or website that is called News-O-Matic so elementary students can understand daily news.     This is similar to the math site I posted except it is for social studies. Again, the students pick which area they need/want to practice and they can click that area to play games pertaining to that section. I click on the states/capitals. If you click on the states, it says the capital, the flag, the motto, etc. This would be a great site if you want students to do research on different states and then design the flag for that state.     Collaborative tools This website is a social media website for teachers to talk and share. In the blog section, i found a blog that included 100 web tools that are free for elementary level teachers. He included search engines, different google apps, and all of the main subjects. This can be used to find tools to help students in a specific area. Also, it contains the google apps which can greatly improve in the classroom.
