Boardmaker is a website that helps with special education educators in speech and language pathologist, occupational therapists' behavioral therapists, while making sure to find, create, organize and deliver customized visual support, with activities in the classroom. How I would use this as a tool in my classroom is that it can help me manage and assign student activities from anywhere, it helps collect data for IEP goals and educational standards.

I love that this site gives a list of different science experiments that are sure to grab students' attention. This site could be used in class if an experiment fits into the lesson plan or maybe even as a special activity they can do for good behavior/no late assignments/whatever.

Math (2): This website is sponsored by Sylvan which specializes in tutoring services for students. On this website, there is a free version where students can watch free math videos covering many concepts, take free practice tests, receive practice problems, etc. There is also a version that can be purchased which provides more in-depth help for students--750+ videos, e-textbooks, step-by-step problem solving help, etc. This website can be used by students or parents who are trying to help their students with homework. It would be a great resource for teachers to pass on to parents to use at home with their child if the child is struggling.

This site is great for students who have any type of disability. It has games that work on skills such as fine motor, language and development. It has activities as well such as (what the website says) the emotions color wheel, which offers children a visual representation of their feelings, along with a facial expression, example sentiment, etymology and definition. I want to be a special education teacher so this site would be a great tool for me to use. Amber Koth

This website would be good for teachers who need help with students with a disability. This website not only gives explanations of different disabilities but also has visual schedules for students. This website helps with social skills, academic skills, and behavior skills. I would use this as a guide and print off anything my students would need to help them.

I included this resource because I am getting my special education endorsement, and I think this is a tool I could utilize for students who are nonverbal that I may have. I like how it includes picture cues and the words underneath to indicate the words they might be trying to communicate.

This website has many different things for physical educations to do. As well, this site also has specific sports that teachers can look up and find activities to do with that unit. I can use the information on this site because it has adaptive sports that I can use if I was working with students that have special needs. I could also use this site to infuse physical education with science. Since, a section talks about how science and sports can be connected.

Sharemylesson is "by teachers, for teachers". It has lesson plans for early elementary, late elementary, middle school, and high school. It also has modified lesson plans for students with various special needs. It has a community tab that answers teacher questions, provides information on Common Core, and also has a general forum in which teachers talk and share their ideas and frustrations. There are over 300,000 teaching resources on this site alone.

Newsela is so helpful in general, but especially helpful to teachers that teach social studies or even a kind of current events class. At first the site seems like a simple news article site. It has a bunch of articles on current events or new discoveries. What's unique about it, though, is that you can get the same article in different ways based on lexicon. You can choose the lexicon level and based on that, the article is written at different levels. For gifted/talented students, they can be given a higher lexicon level version of the article. For students with special needs,

Paths to Literacy | For Students Who Are Blind or Visually Impaired - 0 views

  •
The website is to help educators who are working with students that have some form of visual impairments, including those who are deafblind and/or have multiple disabilities, mainly helping them with reading and writing. How I would use this as an educator is that it can help me as a educator to help me work with students who are needing to use brail, have things be read to them, or other tools to help them with reading and writing.
