Another great tool, the site has all the different grade levels from Kindergarden to 12th grade so it is helpful to all teachers. I could use this site when doing my student teaching because it has a wide variety of lesson plans and grade levels.

    This is another very beneficial teaching tool for language arts.This site is full of teaching strategies that I could use in my future classroom. It has ideas for helping struggling readers as well as more strategies that will be helpful.

    Offers effective teaching strategies, activities, lessons, lesson plans, worksheets, exercises, skills, tests, assessments for reading comprehension, language arts, literacy, fluency, phonics and phonemic awareness for children, especially those with dyslexia and other reading difficulties. This would be a great tool for teacher to get quizzes and work sheets for their students. It's a great site for anyone who is in the education field to help kids read and write.

    Language Arts/Reading (1): This website is a useful teacher resource. It includes classroom strategies, reading guides, and tips on how to help struggling readers. This website is very credible and has sections for teachers, principals, librarians, parents, and other professionals. Reading Rockets has produced several shows on PBS and those are posted on this website as well. They include a variety of topics about reading. This website would be a useful tool to use in my future classroom because it contains newsletters with new and relevant topics regarding reading that are research-based (dyslexia, closing the literacy gap, etc.).

If you have a scholastic book that you want to cover, you can look it up and they provide you with a good plan for class.It provides good ideas and activities to help you teach. Any teacher can use this to help in their class.

    Lesson Plans (2): This website is a great resource for teachers to gain student activities, lesson plan topics/ideas, book ideas to use in the classroom, worksheets/printables, etc. There are videos and other interactives as well. Teachers can also purchase products to be used in their classroom. There are a variety of topics and grade levels available. As a new teacher, this would be a great resource to look for new lesson ideas and Scholastic is a credible source.

    Lesson plans, unit plans, and classroom resources for your teaching needs. Browse or search 10,000+ free teacher resources for all grade levels and subjects. This website is another great website for lesson plans and activity ideas. As I was browsing, it provided specific lesson plan and unit titles and if there was a worksheet or activity associated with it, there was a link. Again, I would use this in the future for lesson plan ideas and even for current assignments.

    This is a scholastic sponsored site. It has a variety of topics and ideas. I could use this in my classroom to either use the entire lesson or just pull ideas to elaborate on.

    I chose this website because the wealth of information that you can get from it. Not only is their lessons, but there is also books that go along with the lessons, and strategies to teaching the lesson too. This would be very beneficial my first year teaching.
