Science (1): This website contains science-themed units that can be used by teachers on a variety of topics. A majority of them cover topics for elementary-aged students; however, there is a section for high school science as well. There are multiple-choice quizzes that can be printed that teachers could use as an assessment tool to test a student's knowledge before a subject is taught, etc. It is user-friendly and contains a lot of material for teachers to use.

This is great to learn about different areas of science. I would use it in my classroom to quiz students over what we learned or I would have them do it at home. It beats using paper and pencil review. Amber Koth

I chose this website because it focuses on five main areas of science for elementary education. Such as, astronomy, earth science, life science, physical science, and technology. Each area goes further in depth about topics and includes apps and game for students to play. I would use this website if we were studying any of these five science areas.

I chose this site because it has a wide variety of topics and different kinds of sites. I would use this more as a fun or laid back kind of activity (like if you need to use up a day inbetween units or right before a holiday break). The kids could find a game or site that interested them and just crusie around. Or, to make it a little more involved, they could find 15-20 facts that they find interesting that they never knew before.

This websire is a great way to get student involved and excited about science! it is motly for older students. there are links to to an "electronic zoo" which then has a bunch of links to lessons on alot of animals in the animla kingdom made by teahers and students to be interactive and interdisciplinary. There are also links to games that kids can classify critteres and a dust explorations.

Aside from the extensive amount other grade level appropriate subjects and topics, this website has great science resources for teachers and students.
