A set of tools for prototyping iPhone apps that uses HTML, CSS and Javascript. Could be a good way to work through some stuff before fully developing it or, outsourcing something if we ever wanted to make our own app.

Nice example of using Panic's Status Board app to monitor tickets, on-call status, server info and other information. Perhaps something that could be useful with Springboard management. 

OCR scanner app for iOS.

This focuses on using PowerPoint to mockup iPhone apps. These ideas can be used to create clickable prototypes for almost any type of application (Integrator anyone?).

This is worth thinking about. What if we had an app where students could record their learning 'workouts' and it was social? Imagine a Brainbit similar to the Fitbit that reminded students to study for 15 minutes every hour or they could set their own goals and reply yes/no if they met the goal. They could then choose to share on FB or twitter, etc. Maybe there's a way to start thinking about the D2L Awards and the Mozilla backpack and start modeling something like this?

Use this web app to create a custom link to a specific start time of any YouTube clip. If the part you want your students to view begins 40 seconds into the movie, this tool will let you create a link that starts playing the clip 40 seconds in.

Use the built-in Preview app to digitally sign documents using your FaceTime camera. Pretty nifty!

A new app (coming soon), that allows you to create your own animated presentations. Watch the video to gain a better sense of what this can do.

Pretty cool looking service. Glassboard lets you set up private social networks that can be accessed via the web and through mobile apps. Could be an interesting way to share information and resources with classes.

Looks interesting. This program seems like the "flash" app for creating HTML5 animations. Includes an export function to bring the animations into iBooks Author.

Vellum is a free app to create eBooks. Supports cross-platform output. But, they charge you to export your eBook. Still, looks like a pretty friendly tool.

A cloud-based tool to convert almost any format to another format. Includes an iOS app and the ability to save directly to cloud storage. Free with limits. Also includes a pay-version.

An interesting idea of using Google+ for project management (with built-in google app integration). If this works, I could see this useful for other team activities (team projects, classes, etc...).

A easy way to determine if you are running any apps that will stop working with Lion. I have several that are incompatible, one is the Microsoft Office Update utility. Another is the Media 100 Transcoder.

From what the article says, they charged from the beginning... Seriously? Who does that?

Interesting way to use an older iPad (or a new one) as a way to display the status of various items.
