Single line running token rule?? - Page 2 - Trainz Discussion Forums - 0 views

under TRS04 and 06 , I often use 'ControlDiamCross' <kuid:131986:1036> as a Block Token, the train takes the 'token' and conflicting signals are set to red so preventing AI from entering the single line, once the train has passed the exit trackmark, it releases the 'token' and allows the next train to take possesion of the 'token' and proceed onto the single line. The request for the token can be achieved automatically by using the 'Schedule at trackmark' rule <kuid2:61392:2001:4>. This rule can insert the command to ask for the 'token' when passing a specific trackmark, before proceeding with next command. Another possibility is the 'Path' rule which can exclusively set the entry and exit of the single line and in doing so, automatically block AI until the path is free again.
Making the impossible possible. Multiple Multiple Industries. - Trainz Discussion Forums - 0 views

Not done it for quite a while but it is fairly easy Best thing is to goto trainzproroutes forum, check lars forum for the protolars manual. It's all to do with the properties i.e ? click on industry then in produce? make it EXTERNAL and link to industry you want to. Manual explains it better than I can . Paul

such industries exist for one year ago in Vol4 LaFrance en Trains: there are multiple tracks multi industries with 3 releases : 2, 3 or 4 tracks. On each track you can define "out" or "in" products and between theses queues how and under which rate some products are made... You can also define a "transitionnal" product made by the industry and linked with a first product supplied on one track and this product can be defined as an enter in another queue combined with another product supplied to made a final one ready to load.... Such industries are supllied as "basic"(only tracks are supplied) or as "neutral" with some buildings around each tracks. These industries are compatible with any products even if some of FET are not used...you can make yours...and use them with this system... Name of tracks are editable for scheduling...Ten queues available, Five different process ...on each industry. Here some beer made with water, alcool and hops...

How do I set a trigger? - Trainz Discussion Forums - 0 views

Additionally, there are commands available that will check the status of industries, then once they need servicing you can have a train deliver to them or pick up from them.

You might check out atilabarut's message rules. Download these and read: PostMessage,<kuid:131986:210002> WaitForMessage,<kuid:131986:1029> WaitForMessage,<kuid:131986:210005> You can put these rules in the driver schedule without the need for programming expertise.

Proteus Yard is a mythical goods yard serving a small industrial estate containing eight different industries. The layout uses the Trainz 1.3/UTC scripting to deliver a number of random trains of wagons which must be sorted and delivered to the various factories on the estate.

Ive been doing this for years, dont use a trigger as another train can sometimes set it off. You need a spare driveable asset (I use a car parked in the station car park)

There is also a limit to the number of threads that can be run in a scenario which I believe is 64. I have found ways to increase the number of trains that can be run within this limitation and can explain them to you if you ever reach the limit.
Running trains to a timetable using sessions in TRS06 [Archive] - Trainz Discussion Forums - 0 views

The sessions of the Crewe route run to careful timetable and I have documented the method in various threads. This is the only method I have found that works reliably. I am just putting the finishing touches to a Crewe session '100 Trains' during which more than 100 trains pass through Crewe on a strict timetable over 3 hours including engine changes, shunting, breaking down and making up trains etc. the existing '50 Trains' session already uploaded utilizes all the control techniques I have configured to achieve timetable working - and it works GREAT!
