How to use invisible track with driveable objects? - Trainz Discussion Forums - 0 views

  •
Place the track on the ground, and use the "Adjust Spline Height" button in advanced tab to raise it to the height(s) you require for an airplane, helicopter, ship or drivable car or truck. Place your intended locomotive object (any drivable object) on the track in Surveyor. In driver, the track will be invisible. I suggest adding invisible speed limits and/or signals as well.

Removing invisible items - Trainz Discussion Forums - 0 views

  • What I did (TS2009, but I think it will work for TS2006) is in CMP, create a back-up of the asset you want to remove. Then delete the asset from the database. This will only work for assets not built in, as you cannot delete built-in. Once the asset is deleted in CMP, go back into TS, and use the "Delete missing assets" function. I do not think that just disabling the asset in CMP will do anything. Disabling only makes the asset no longer available in the Surveyor menu, but does not remove it from the route.

Description: A quick sample of how I build stations using Magicland's subway kit. Both components and completed stations are shown, with invisible track to allow running for close up and inside views of the assets.

Shunt signals - Trainz Discussion Forums - 0 views

  • For Trainz AI control of shunting moves it's no so much the signalling as the use of Trackmarks and Driver commands such as "Drive to Trackmark" and "Couple at Trackmark" that you need to look at. You may also need to use invisible signals to help the AI.

Help with AI commands please!!! - Trainz Discussion Forums - 0 views

  • If the invisible signal idea does not work try the command 'couple to vehicle in front/behind signal'. You will have to name/number the signal, so you will have as commands, drive to t/mark/wait for 30 secs, uncouplez vehicle 1or2,drive to t/mark {this is to allow the engine to get to a set of points}, couple to vehicle front/behind signal. I know it's long winded but if your at a station or use it a lot at the same place you can put the set of commands in a schedule library and give the copy commands from library {run round}. one command and all the ones you have saved under that name are followed. __________________

Commands when there are no suitable trackmarks - Trainz Discussion Forums - 0 views

  • I'm aware that someone created an 'invisible wagon' to trigger level (grade) crossings. If it's freely available that might be an alternative. It's KUID2: 209453:99991:1 on the DLS
