Nice site for PreK- 8th graders. It links to games and resources on other sites. Plenty of options and you can probably find something on what you are teaching. It has cute graphics, but looks a little old. Still easy to use.

The Teacher's Corner - 0 views

This is a pretty good site for ideas for K-6 class activities. It has an active message board area and loads of printouts and exercises. It was pretty easy to navigate. The only downside for me is that not too many of the options can be used in an ESL classroom other than some of the reading and writing choices. I'm not sure how helpful it would be for science or math teachers, but it could be worth a look for any of you who are K-6 teachers.

Good site for grammar explanation and grammar exercises. It has videos, exercises, handouts, presentations, and more about different grammar points that a teacher could use or a teacher could direct a student to for more practice. It offers short, but descriptive explanations of different English grammar points with tons of examples about each topic.

The U.S. Department of Education features content related to funding, policy, research, certification, job opportunities and news. Very useful for an educator, the site offers research on how to organize instruction, what works in the classroom, and improving teacher quality as well as providing resources on lessons plans. This site would also be particularly important to teachers needing to correlate their lesson plans to national standards.

Geogebra - 1 views

(Unfortunately Geogebra is a download, but it is a quick simple download that doesn't take long, and it also doesn't take much space). I love Geogebra because it is the best interactive geometry application that can be used to help students not only learn the concepts of geometry but also help them to visualize them in action.

Teacher Path Finder is a very useful website that has a lot of resources and links to websites with many resources for teachers. I also liked how it had a section for the community, parents and there were even some resources for students (school to work information). I love how this website has enough information to have many different resources that can be used in almost countless situations.

Awesome interactive presentation on "mate", a popular Argentine drink. This Prezi links up to other similar interactive presentations on other related ideas to this one. There is so much that a teacher could do with these and as an extension have students create their own!
