This site provides hands-on opportunities for teachers to learn internet-safe methods they will be encouraging in their classrooms. The curriculum is based on the categories of S.M.A.R.T: "safety and security online, manners, bullying, and ethics, authentic learning and creativity, research and information fluency, and twenty-first century challenges. It also provides Internet solutions to some of the world's most impoverished regions. CyberSmart! Although the name is silly, there are really many great resources for students and teachers alike for learning and teaching English. There is a community forum that leads discussions regarding other internet resources, lesson plans, etc. This website also incorporates technology into the lesson plans, giving ways to use the internet, film/video, and even music! For students, there are practice quizzes, flashcards templates, and lists of other helpful websites in learning English as a second language. There is a lot of creativity on this website for any teacher who wants to think outside of the box in English teaching.
