Multicultural Education Pavilion - Diversity, Equity, & Social Justice Education Resources - 0 views

  •
I really liked this website as a multicultural resource for students and teachers because they provided various types of information, materials for lesson plans, and gave contact/following information by the makers of the website. From quotes to articles this website is stocked with information. However since it is so abundant in resources, it seems a tad cluttered, so some sleuthing will have to be done in order to find the perfect resource you need.

Internet Safety 101 - 0 views

  •
This internet safety website is geared more towards parents and educators than students, There is information regarding how to identify scams, predators and bullying and then also how to combat these threats. I liked the blog-like forum, but the recent news articles and press/media links made the website feel paranoid. Overall, interesting resources!

Although the name is silly, there are really many great resources for students and teachers alike for learning and teaching English. There is a community forum that leads discussions regarding other internet resources, lesson plans, etc. This website also incorporates technology into the lesson plans, giving ways to use the internet, film/video, and even music! For students, there are practice quizzes, flashcards templates, and lists of other helpful websites in learning English as a second language. There is a lot of creativity on this website for any teacher who wants to think outside of the box in English teaching.

NETC - Northwest Educational Technology Consortium - 0 views

This website is a great resource for educators who are looking for creative ways to incorporate technology into their classrooms. The content is geared for K-12 learning, yet it also includes some resources for adult literacy courses. Although it is mainly projected towards educators in the more remote region of the Pacific Northwest, there are many examples and resources for all over the country.
