    More and more clips like this appear on YouTube. Is it worth investing time and effort in preparing such a clip in HE environment where students enrolled in the class already. Maybe a teaser for a lecture or complete Module that is an option. Why not!?

    The findings indicated that young people who had used Facebook (but not YouTube) for more than a year had higher scores in tests of verbal ability, working memory, and spelling, compared to their peers who had used it for a shorter time period.  - FB and other social media as a 'practice ground' for data sorting, communication and social connectedness - Also some interesting details on survey methods used.

    A good video by Teresa Coffman which introduces podcasting. altough the target audience is not in higher education this is good and it arrangement by themes enhances comprehension.
