    Will we ever get rid of book. Maybe but ebooks are going to stay with us. More green option if nothing else. For digital natives and maybe not for as analogue ancestors :) When building a Project it is worth having information where to get books that you might need in addition to material offered within the course - online of course.

AJET 25(3) McGarr (2009) - A review of podcasting in higher education: Its influence on... - 2 views

  • The ability to access this material on portable devices such as MP3 players can enable more mobile access to the material. Evans (2008) argues that the increasing demands on modern learners' time means that they are often forced to study when the opportunity arises, this may be on the bus, train or car, at evening or weekends or during lunch breaks. These demands bring with them the need for portable technologies that enable them to transport their learning materials to access when they can. This 'mobile learning', or m-learning for short, is used widely in distance learning programs because of the relative ease in which the digital resources can be produced (Bongey, Cizadlo & Kalnbach, 2006) and because they facilitate the needs of the learner and enhance their learning experience;

Student views on mobile and innovation in learning and teaching - 0 views

  •
    This blog post shares students views' on mobile learning from a survey carried out at the University of Liverpool. One of the most interesting aspects of this post is the summary of student views in response to the question; 'How would you expect to use mobile devices at University?'
  •
    Thomas thank you for sharing. I wonder whether digital natives and "others" would have different opinion? Also I can not guess on how much of a difference would UG students have to part time PG students. Do you have any idea on that or maybe a good resource to look at?
