I was about to make the same connection as Riley regarding the book "Feed". Not to far from now our society will reach a point where the internet is accessible at any moment. It really is scary how much we rely on technology, Although these google glass things are really cool, I don't think we need them. In my opinion they can hurt the human race more than they can help us.

Although I will be participating in Bay to Breakers and don't like all these strict rules, I can see why they are neccesary. Whenever an attack like the Boston Bombing occurs, we have to take all the precautions we can.

This is one of this worst ideas I have heard. This is our education system just being lazy. What if someone writes with sarcasm? Or uses phrases? Computer graded essays are not going to help progress our education.

I know where I stand with most topics in the world, but this one can really get my brain in a not sometimes. After really considering it, I think that the girl should be able to make the decision for herself. She already was born with a confusing body, discriminating her will only make her life more mind-boggling. She is not a freak, and our society needs to be able to accept her.

If the purpose of having guns in the classroom is to keep people safe, I think the country is moving in the wrong direction. This is not a case where you fight fire with fire. If the country wants less mass shootings, the way you solve that is by stricter gun laws meaning less guns, not just throwing more guns into the equation. Of course the NY Times did a good job because they are professional. Comparing this article to the Bark's article, the main difference is after reading this one is I am not left with any questions.

After reading I have a lot of unanswered questions. First off, what was the punishment for the TA's? Were they punished at all? What about the teachers? Did they, or did they not have control over the actions of their TA's? Although this article could have been written more thoroughly, it was certainly worth publishing for the reason that if it was kept on the down low, the problem would not be solved, and the people of Redwood would be left in the dark. Overall I say the Bark did a great job of getting the news out there despite objections from the school.
