    Last night I started reading El Deafo. I got to page 111 last night. She is Sick and she looses her hearing so she hast to use a hearing aid. It is hard for her to make friends at school because people judge her because she can't hear without the cords. She finally made a friend but she's bossy and mean. Now she meats the new girl at school hopping she will like her. Read the book to see if it all works out.

    Last night I read Diary of a wimpy kid the long haul. It was really funny there is a pig my favorite part is when Greg and his family are really hungry and they try to eat the pig. I don't think it was as good as others but if I had to say I think it would be a 6 on a chart from one to ten. I recommend it if you are 12 and under its funny like last night the pig ate everything in the house including the trash!

    Last night I read El Deafo. This week is a very busy week so I don't get that much reading time. So I remember my place I take an index card a right what's going on and put that were I left off so next lime I read I can just read that and get right to it.

    A strategy I use is if I am wrting a story in writers workshop and I need help with a sentense I pick up my book and find a sticky note in the book. That note may work for the sentense I need. So as I read I look for strong sentences that can help me when I start writing. Then those sentences start to become natural when I write. That helps me become a stronger writer and reader.

    Last night I read the land of story'. One of the characters is Alex. The outside of her is smart funny happy and a good person. on the inside she is scarred and lonely. Sometimes sad and doesn't like herself that much. She alway wishes she was cool and not smart and those are the two sides of Alex. I think she is cool I think she should just try harder to make friends. And stop trying to be dumb.

    Last night I finished the series's of The Land Of Stories. Alex and Conner got out of the land but wondering if they should ever go back because of all the troubles. Conner is one of of the characters. He used to be mean strange and a trouble maker. But after visiting the land of stories he is nice and very cool. H a great student and not a slacker any more. That's what Conner is like.

    Last night I read Babymouse. If I had to describe her I would say she is very needy and selfish. Everything always hast to be about her. If it isn't she gets very mad and upset. I feel very bad for her though because nothing ever goes right for her. Hopefully they will make one of her books where she gets what she wants.

    Last night I read diary of a wimpy kid. Greg and Roderick both got fish. Manny got fish food. They thought it was so Manny could feed there fish. They were wrong, instead Manny ate half the tube and threw the rest in the trash. Even though Manny is only three I think it's wired for him to eat fish food.

    Last night I read Diary Of A Wimpy Kid . Greg was having trouble dealing with the fact that Rowely got a girlfriend and he didnt. Now Greg and Rowley are no longer friends and Rowley is Abigail's boyfriend .Greg is very mad and now he's trying to get Fregley to be his new best friend. Greg is having a lot of trouble. Read Hard Luck to see how it goes.

    Last night I finished Divergent. Tris and her boyfriend Four were about to be killed by a faction. Tris mom saved them but Four was brain washed. So he could be controlled bye a computer. Then Tris mom said they had to find the others. A faction was kidnaping everyone and hurting them so a couple were trying to escape. Her family and Fours family were escaping together. They found the others and she said they had to save Four. So she went back to save him but he didn't know her and the computer was controlling him so he tried to kill her. Read the book to see what happens.

    Last night I read the Hatchet. Brian is making a fire and it's not going so good. He gets sparks but then they go out. He's cold and he wants to scramble some turtle eggs. So he thinks of how to make a fire. Then he realizes he needs to blow so he gets air. He blows to hard and the fire goes out. So he try's again softly and it works he has a fire. Now he's warm and he can fix his eggs.

    Last night I read ALLEGIANT. Tris and Four have now decided that they would like to go outside the fence. To see what is out there It is very dangerous out there so they half to be ready. They must have things they need to survive. So there getting ready and are saying goodbye to there loved ones. Read the book to see what's out there.

    Last night I read Michael vey fourth book. His friends and him are trying to save a kidnapped girl and there going over the plan. Finally they are ready to put it in action. The girl is on a battle ship but there are three that look the same. So they half to figure out which one she's on. She happens to be on a fishing boat but everything is still but there are flashes of light every once and a while. They figure out its Morris code so they half to try to see what it's saying. Read the book to see how it goes and if they save the girl.

    Last night I read Because of Mr. Terupt. Mr Terupt was in a coma and we did not know if he was going to come out. They all got in one big group and prayed. It was very nice how all of the students wanted to come together and help there teacher. I think that the story was very good and I can't wait to read the second book!

    Last night I head Diary Of A Wimpy Kid The Third Wheel. Greg was having trouble with his brother Manny. Manny was scared to come down the slide and it was time to go. So Greg had to go up and get Manny. All the kids were there getting in his way so he was having trouble. Some good word choice I found was the word ventilation. I think that that is an interesting word.

    Last night I read INSURGENT. Fours mom died so everyone thought. Then they found her she is a factionless woman. Some good word choice was the word uncharacteristically I thought that was a pretty big word. So I had to look it up on word smyth. To find out what it meant.

    Last night I finished Hatchet. Brian got out of the Canadian forest. Bye going to the plane and sending a signal for help. Then a plane stoped bye and rescued him. It turns out the search and rescue stoped looking for him. So if he had not done something to get himself of the island he would have been there forever.

    Last night I read ALLEGIANT. Tris and Four had to our smart his mom to get outside the fence they did. It took a long time but they finally found a way. Read the book to see how they did it. When they got outside the fence Tris met people and they had a picture of her mom. Her mom is dead so she didn't understand. Then she realized her mom lived outside the fence before she broke up into factions. I'm on page 37 I recommend the book a lot .

    Last night I read flora and Ulysses. Flora was looking out here window and she saw her parents vacuums up a squirrel. She thought it was dead but then it go on it feet. Read the book to see what happened to the little squirrlle.

    One example of figurative langauge is the sun will disappear I like that because it would be very cool too watch that. Another example is like a song from the clouds. I like that example because clouds singing is kind of funny. He roared his words I like this example because it reminds me of a lion.

    Over the break I read Divergent. Tris the main character had a test to see what tribe she would be in. She was Divergent. That is bad because nobody likes Divergent. they are smarter then them. So she had no faction those are like tribes. She had to choose and that was hard because the test is what tells you which faction you choose . That is a hard a
    Chose because the tribe she pick is the one she will spend the rest of her life in. Read the book to find which one she chooses selfless brave honest peaceful or intelligent. I half to make hard chooses all the time.

    Last night I read Insurgent. Tris and Four were mad at each other because she kept on risking her life when she didn't half to. Four said he wanted her to be safe and he didn't want to loose her. And she got defensive because she hates to be told what to do. This always happeneds to me because I like to be right. So me and my brother always get mad at each other because we both like to be right. Just like Tris and Four.

    Last night I read INSURGENT. Tris and Four had to escape from erudite compound as fast as they could. Tris fell and hurt herself. When ever I'm in a hurry or I'm going very fast I hurt myself. Because I'm not paying attention just going as fast I can.

    Last night I read Michael Vey 4rth book. Micheal and the electro clan are having a lot of trouble breaking into the electric base. The Elgen are evil and they are making sure that it is easy for them to take over the world. Michael and friends finally found a way in but they need help from someone who can not be trusted. They don't want to do it but it is the only way read th book to see what happens. I have had to do stuff that I don't want to but I do it anyway because that is what's right.

    I read a book called the vanishing coin this time mike learned how to do a couple of tricksand he wants to show them to his friends he wants to change the way people look at him from wrong and wired to cool and right. Read the book to see how it goes. I am on page 101 this is a great book it makes you want to read it and keep on reading and when you stop u want to start reading again. I suggest this book u can find it in the lower school library.

    Last night I read a book called the trouble with chickens. Two chickens were missing and the chicken family needed help getting them Back. So they went to a rescue dog. They found the two chicks and the dog realizes its a set up. So the chickens wanted new books and they needed to trade a dog for them. read the book to see how he responds and why they needed a dog to get books. There are 120 pg's and I finished the book.
