Mellon Foundation, Willamette University, Whitman College, University of Puget Sound, Reed College, and Lewis and Clark College have formed the Northwest Five Consortium (NW5C). Working toward the regular sharing of expertise and resources, the mission of the NW5C is to enhance the student academic experience at our five liberal arts colleges through enrichment and development of faculty as teacher-scholars. Shared Environment: ACM Faculty Collaborate on Earth Science Program in Italy - ACM - A... - 2 views

    "As they looked out over dramatic landscapes of the Apennine Mountains in Italy this past fall, 13 students from four ACM colleges were engaged in a new off-campus study program that takes a hands-on, project-based approach to studying earth science and the interactions between people and the environment.
