When you lack self-esteem you feel weak and helpless. You are uncertain of the value of anything you do. You don't trust yourself and you do. You don't trust yourself and you don't trust other people's reassurances. You're unsure of who you are. You may find it hard to make satisfying friendships. Life gets on top of you very easily.

After a while you start to feel that some thing s you're doing may be rather strange. One of the things you're lacking is feedback. No-one is giving you any information about how you're getting on. No-one responding to what you do. Without feedback it is difficult to regulate what you do.
