Drugs are normally categorized accordingly to their effects. Stimulants are drugs that speed up nerve impulses. Caffeine is a stimulant found in both coffee and tea. It is not harmful if taken in small amounts. Another type of stimulant called amphetamines, however, are harmful. Ecstasy is an example of this amphetamine. Ecstasy makes the user feel energetic, gives a sense of confidence and increases his heartbeat as well as body temperature.

No-one is giving you any information about how you're getting on. No-one responding to what you do. Without feedback it is difficult to regulate what you do.
