Drugs are normally categorized accordingly to their effects. Stimulants are drugs that speed up nerve impulses. Caffeine is a stimulant found in both coffee and tea. It is not harmful if taken in small amounts. Another type of stimulant called amphetamines, however, are harmful. Ecstasy is an example of this amphetamine. Ecstasy makes the user feel energetic, gives a sense of confidence and increases his heartbeat as well as body temperature.

When you've got self-esteem you value yourself. You trust your judgment. You know what you're capable of. You respect yourself for what you do and who you are. Imagine that you've been cast away on a desert island . You live completely alone. You have enough to eat and drink. You have shelter. It may even be quite pleasant. But there's no-one else around. After a while you start to feel that some thing s you're doing may be rather strange. One of the things you're lacking is feedback. No-one is giving you any information about how you're getting on. No-one responding to what you do. Without feedback it is difficult to regulate what you do.
