Delphi has been around since the 1950's with a large body of support material, case studies and tools on the web and should be part of any virtual team, community or network leader's toolset.

The idea behind wectar is the fusion of two worlds, dmoz.org (open directory project) and delicious.com. This fusion is seen by us as a mutual enrichment of two stages in the evolution of the world wide web. What makes both of these two great services for sure true pioneers of web 3.0 is their generosity of making their unique knowledge available for mashups like wectar. Obviously wectar couldn't be without this generosity. We hope that we can repay this kindness to some extend by promoting both services through our web site.

This exploratory study examines the relationships between article and Talk page contributions and their effect on article quality in Wikipedia. The sample consisted of three articles each from the hard sciences, soft sciences, and humanities, whose talk page and article edit histories were observed over a five-month period and coded for contribution types. Richness and neutrality criteria were then used to assess article quality and results were compared within and among subject disciplines. This study reveals variability in article quality across subject disciplines and a relationship between Talk page discussion and article editing activity. Overall, results indicate the initial article creator's critical role in providing a framework for future editing as well as a remarkable stability in article content over time.

The Classroom also includes curricular material: syllabi, lesson plans, resource repositories, screencasts and videos. The Collaboratory (or Colab), is what we call just the web service part of it. Educators are encouraged to use the Colab and SMB materials freely, and we host your Colab communities if you don't want to install your own.
