23% increase in autism in white children. That is now 1 in 88. The news is worse for black children (91% increase) and even worse for hispanics (110% increase). And no, this is not due to an increase in screening as some would propose.

Numbers posted by the National Center for Health Statistics show that more than 34 percent of Americans are obese, compared to 32.7 percent who are overweight. It said just under 6 percent are "extremely" obese.
