A few stories about how some people donated money to a child each month. Very different stories, but all to help a child in the end.

This article describes how poverty affects childrens brains. The articles says that lower class children's brains develope differently than those of the higher and middle class. This affects thier language skills and thier "ability to plan and remember details". I found this article interesting, and i think it might help explain why people who grew up in poverty have trouble getting out of it when they are older.

I don't really see the difference between this and 5 hour energy stims with peanut butter. The reason is because stims gives you a heavy adrenaline much like giving your body heavy amounts of rest and food.

I thought that was a good point to make because this is a pretty common sterotype for people to believe.

I think that welfare is good. It stinks when there are people that try to take advantage of the system. There are people out there that really need help.

This site is about a new system to help solve homelessness. It is called a Vulnerability Index and provides housing for the homeless. I was saddened by reading that when you see someone who is homeless you are essentially seeing someone who is dieing.
