Training Session - 0 views

  •
This site was really helpful to show me the bond between the trainers of the animals and the animals. This video also helped to show me some of the basic signals and commands that the trainers use. This video is definitely something I'd recommend someone who's interested in training marine mammals, and even animals in general. This video will really help you to see an example of some of the training that goes into these animals. This video really helped me to understand how often they must condition these orcas in order for them to follow their instructions.

JavaScript Tutorial - 0 views

  •
This is a site that I found when having trouble with JavaScript code. This site is incredibly helpful to anyone having problems with JavaScript. I couldn't believe it when I found this many explanations and helpful guides on so many topics. The site covers most of the more advanced concepts of JavaScript, or if it does show simple code it explains its more complex applications. This site came in handy for many times in my Programming and Logic class when I was having trouble. I find the information on the site very reliable because when I fix my code according to its instructions it always solves the problem. I would recommend this site to anyone who has a grasp on the basics of JavaScript and wishes to expand their knowledge.

This was a very useful video for me at the beginning of my independent study, it shows in detail how to center and throw a pot, which can be very difficult and is what I spend most of my time doing. The woman in the video also gives good instruction and help me a great deal.

Soil Solarization for Gardens & Landscapes Management Guidelines--UC IPM - 0 views

  •
This site also discussed the process of solarization. However, the site was centered more on the destruction of pests in the soil. I believe, though, that the same procedures used for extinguishing the pests could be used on seeds. One idea that intrigued me was the idea that a small container can be solarized, with plastic tarp on top, as I didn't really think of using a small container to solarize plants. As my plot of soil with the parsnip plant is very small, I don't think actually solarizing it would do anything, but as a possible alternative to my procedure of baking the seeds, if I had more time I could have solarized them in a small container. I could still do that, as a back-up to my procedure, with the remaining soil and seeds, and see how it affects the seeds, if I have sufficient time. Aside from this small bit of information, and a repeat of the instructions of how to do solarization of your own, I don't think I will use this site very often. The only good information it had was the information mentioned above. However, it is also a reliable educational source, and as such, it will most likely contain reliable information, as compared to a non-educational site.
