The article includes comment by Michael Statmore, Chief Information Officer, Post University, who notes that the school has partnered with cloud-based CRM provider Oracle for its online student admissions, a move that's made it far easier for the staff to "unify process and methods." He notes that with the ability to map out tasks and objectives on a central hub, the university has freed up hundreds of hours per year.

The March 19 edition of eCampus News includes the following press release highlighting that Embry-Riddle implemented Oracle's PeopleSoft Campus Solutions to provide students and administrators with real-time information.  The release notes that the new system will deliver self-service capabilities to students and enhance the class registration process.  The release also notes that the new student administration software suite will replace the university's legacy system, which was unable to meet the university's global enterprise needs.

The March 21 edition of ExecutiveBiz includes the following blog post highlighting that California State University (CSU) is implementing Oracle's PeopleSoft Applications in its efforts to standardize financial management processes and systems across its 23 campuses.  The blog post notes that the integrated financial management solutions will provide a consolidated platform for the school to complete financial operations including general ledger, billing and purchasing.  The blog post also notes that CSU will use Oracle's PeopleSoft Human Capital Management and Oracle's PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.

The March 20 edition of Campus Technology includes the following article highlighting that Embry-Riddle implemented Oracle's PeopleSoft Campus Solutions to improve its student self-service capabilities and streamline its business processes.  The article notes that the new student administration software suite will replace the university's legacy system which was cumbersome to use, requiring up to 25 steps and three separate logins to complete class registration.

The March 22 edition of eCampus News includes the following press release highlighting that colleges and universities across the United States are now benefiting from the integration between Oracle's PeopleSoft Campus Solutions 9.0 and Oracle's PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) 9.0 or 9.1.  The press release notes that Palomar College and Metropolitan Community College successfully integrated PeopleSoft HCM and Campus Solutions.

The March 28 edition of Yale Daily News includes the following article highlighting that university administrators are currently determining the best approach for upgrading Yale University's aging Oracle computer system - a set of applications that handle finance, budgeting, payroll and other administrative tasks.  The article notes that updating the current system will ensure the software continues to operate efficiently and effectively.  The article also notes that administrators will reach a decision about the upgrade before the fiscal year ends on June 30.
