    This is a great interactive and multimedia resource for teachers from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum's website.  The beta Digital Classroom begins with the 1950s.  Different artists are highlighted from the 1950s, each with a bio, authentic performance video, "why it matters" section and lesson objectives that highlight important musical aspects of the artist.

    This composition site through Classics for Kids gives two levels of composing- beginner and advanced. A great variety of notes to be used (there are dotted rhythms in the advanced level), and students can drag the notes/rests easily to where they'd like to on the staff. This site is great for teaching composition, beats, time signature, treble clef staff and notes.

The host of the video episodes, "Quaver" makes music learning fun and memorable. There are free parts of the program as well as extensive paid sections.     World music resources including forums, FAQ's resources, new customs. It is set up for any teacher. It specifically says the teacher does not have to read music. The best thing about it is the forum. A teacher can learn from the forum buy reading other's ideas. The worst thing about this is they are trying to sell their books. However, they do have other resources linked to their website.

    The University of Indiana has provided a comprehensive set of individual instrument instructional videos for all instruments. These instructional videos include woodwind, brass, percussion, harp, keyboards, strings, and fretted strings. The view can pause the videos at any time and interact with the musical passages on the right side of the video. In addition to this being a comprehensive set of resources, it is also through a reputable source.
