This website contains PDFs of wind band music that is available for free to download in the United States. The music is public domain or available via a Creative Commons license. This is very helpful with finding older music or replacing parts, especially with music that is out of print.
  •
This band music library includes pieces that were written for American Town Bands. American Town Bands used to be so popular that almost every town in my region of Massachusetts had one. Sadly, these bands have been slowly dying out. Thanks to this website, you can find free music that those bands used to play and revive them with your ensembles.

Purpose of this resource: This is an excellent source of information, sheet music, lesson plans, and worksheets for the elementary music educator. Musical Content: This webpage contains composer biographies, sheet music downloads, worksheets, music theory games, music dictionaries, private teacher directories and more. The content is geared toward students in grades K-6. Other information: This webpage has excellent, free content, but some of the advertisements on the page may by inappropriate for display in class. Yousician - Your personal music teacher - 0 views

  •
Yousician is a great resource for learning the guitar, bass, ukelele, or piano. Students can watch video tutorials and move up when they pass levels while playing songs with fun background music. The program/app provides instant feedback on pitch and rhythm. Teachers can use Yousician with a class on a Smart Board. In a group setting, Yousician cannot provide feedback, but it does provide lesson plans and even has a SongCreator. It is free to use with time limits on feedback, or can be upgraded to premium for $9.99/person with unlimited feedback. Students can sign up for their own account and teachers can track their progress through a Teacher account. It is fun, engaging, and provides a well rounded education in these instruments. There are knowledge tracks for each instrument which cover music theory and ear training.
