  谢树棠老师是一位杰出的物理教师！他年近80，1954年毕业于原华南工学院无线电物理专业，并留校任教。后来，由于众所周知的原因，他历经种种坎坷，尝尽人间苦难！在我读高中二年级的时候，他流落到我的母校——湖南省新邵县第七中学，我才有缘成了他的学生。也正是这个缘分，使我得以能够上大学（见本人博文“师恩难忘”：

经过长年的观察和研究，郑炳南称，他的行星轨道学说逐渐成熟，他进一步对哥白尼的《日心说》产生了质疑，提出了“公共质心说”，认为行星并不是围绕着太阳运动，而应该是围绕行星和太阳的公共质心运动，只是比较偏向太阳的一方而已。由此，他的“摆线猜想”也逐渐完善成了“摆螺线说猜想”

“乖孩子综合症”也容易造成华人之间的竞争和矛盾。习惯于在白人面前做“乖孩子”的人，有些其实为人并不是真正的好。他们可能在白人面前乖巧，在华人中间却是一辈子“很有孩子气”，喜欢和其他华人比谁“有出息”，这样的“乖孩子”特别妒忌其他华人，甚至做出专门损害其他华人利益的事情。华人有个争做“第一……华人”的喜好，其中有良性的因素，但是也有不良倾向：这个喜好一不留神和“乖孩子综合症”搅合在一起就可能成为一剂毒药。为了争这个“第一”，有些华人会极力竞争甚至排斥其他华人。某些华人做了领导后，即使华人下属与其他人比较同样出色甚至更出色时，为了显示“公平”或者体验领导白人的优越感，他们故意不提拔华人。这样反而出现有些部门因为华人领导而其下属华人更少，或者提升更慢的情形。

所以总结一下： I. 舍员招生以省籍为主（亦可数省联合，这也很自然，商业伙伴不也多是来自不同省份，赞助时亦不妨搞个联合会馆，比如潘石屹和张欣两口子正可按此办理个甘-京 联合会馆），省籍含义宽泛，不仅指生长地或祖籍，亦可包含未来工作地打算甚至是胃口倾向性，同时一个重要点是要兼顾体育倾向性。 II. 混住含三层意思：男女混搭，年级混搭，老少混搭，这个“老”，是厉害的，会老马识途的“老”。这种人，可能离开战斗一线了，不适合做各系各学科的领头人，但是对住宿学院院长（楼长）之职来讲，却比那些正当壮年，革命一线的各系各学科的中青年领头人，更合适的多。 这些当为我心中的住宿学院的特点。如果这两大特点能够保证住，住宿学院的尝试必然会成功，则很自然的，将来大学招生的任务，就会发生在住宿学院，由住宿学院的各位不同专业的住院老师来挑学生，而不是由系来挑学生。这一点将更加接近于英国的大学特点。见三一学院的一个网页：

In reviewing a textbook, one should consider the background of the book's audience. I believe that this text by Stein and Shakarchi on complex analysis is outstanding, and is appropriate for a student who has the background of a course in real analysis at the level of Rudin's "Principles of Mathematical Analysis".

The text has a number of strengths. Some of these are the following: 1. The choice of material and the order of presentation are superb. Just to give you a sample, within the first 100 pages, the authors cover Runge's Theorem, the Schwarz Reflection Principle, Riemann's Theorem on Removable Singularities, the Casorati-Weierstrass Theorem, Rouche's Theorem, and the homotopy version of Cauchy's Integral Theorem. The novice is thus treated to some beautiful mathematics very quickly.

3. The proofs are very clear and elegant. The main ideas are emphasized, and just enough details are given so that a diligent student with the background stated above will be able to grasp the arguments.

如果是填鸭，引颈就填是很难办的，最好的办法就是掐住他们的脖子。 既然是科普性质的，就不要再和幼儿园的教学一样了，毕竟都大三大四了，有一定的积极能动性了。可以分配给他们任务，让他们自己查资料，做演讲，提问题，评优秀团队，再加以引导。如果有完美的ppt就让他们copy回去，自己慢慢科普吧。如果觉得自己的课不值得这样大动干戈，就别开了，放过学生，也放过自己。我想这也是必修和选修课的一个重要区别

其实，对付逃课的办法很简单，给学生多多提供课堂上互动参与的过程，让每个人都能参与，并规定平时参与的分数为80分，期末考试20分。想要学分的自然就来了：）这也符合启发式教学的原则

其实博主此帖和另外一个帖子，“我劝学，但学生不买我的帐” 主题差不多，博主以为自己把什么招都想了，但其实呢，有好些同志提出了一些博主并未采过的方法。如： 1. 选修课应该鼓励学生参与，采用学生上台研讲；并跟成绩挂钩。其实老师的水平不在于你辛辛苦苦地上网找资料，找图片，那些很可能年轻学生自己做的，比老师还好。而在于鼓励学生做，并在学生研讲之后，给出有足够深度的专业点评，这样学生才会心服。后者是很难的，正式年轻学生们做不到的，需要有足够学养的老师才能做到。 2. 必修课可以采取课堂提问，不到者可以借此查处名字并扣分。 博主可试验后，再告诉我们在南航的反馈。
