It's based on creating switch stop/starts in YouTube videos, and you can also set it up with your own videos by cutting and pasting the link. You just don't want to save those home videos to the GamePlay website where everyone searches. http://tarheelgameplay.org/ It works best if you use it in a Chrome browser, but on my iPad, I've been using it in Safari okay. Check out some of my favorites - Disney Princess Medley - from one of my Bridge Camp buddies - A Ornie the Pig - the stops emphasize action verbs that the character is going to do if you activate the swtich, not just hit the switch to make it go Nascar pit Stop - if you want lots of switch activations and fast action and of course, Scat - because who doesn't love ya some Ice Age squirrel thing?

Boardmaker Symbols for Picture Books This is a collection of Boardmaker Symbols to use while reading picture books. Many of the boards are of books in the SET BC Accessible Book Collection. The symbols are 2 1/2 by 2 1/2 inches in size. These could be made smaller, then laminated and cut up to velcro to the book itself. All of the best K-5 online, interactive, educational games and simulations in one place! These activities work great with your SMARTboard or interactive whiteboard for whole group or small group instruction or use in the computer lab or at home for individual learning.

The National STEM Centre houses the largest open collection of resources for teachers of science, design and technology, engineering and mathematics in the UK. Alongside contemporary resource materials including print, multimedia, and practical resources, is a growing archive collection, which showcases several decades of curriculum development. Resources for use with early years to post-16 students are freely available as physical and eLibrary collections. The eLibrary currently contains over 4,000 teaching resources for the STEM subjects.

Your board will be available to edit anytime or any device. You can also make it public for others to use online. It only takes 5-10 minutes or even less. This presentation includes step-by-step directions using Google Presentation to create a communication board for core vocabulary.
