    This is an insightful article. Teachers do not want to spend 80% of their day teaching common core lessons. Since their administrators force them to do so, they spend less time reading about new and exciting facts they could be sharing about broader subjects. To sum it up I believe teachers are being pulled from learning more to teach robotic lessons.

    This is a very interesting article. Every student in my class play this game. Most of my students play the creative mode. It is amazing to watch these kids build intricate maps that display knowledgeable concentration. I find myself watching the kids over their shoulders on break for several minutes and being astonished of the problem solving techniques they use to think their specified maps. On top of that, it is a very hard game to play. I never can complete a regular level. I feel like a dinosaur picking up their tablet and try to play this game. I remember trying to play my dad in the early Madden games growing up. I feel like the parent picking up the controller and having no idea what to do. Even though the concept is so simple. There are several learning abilities to apply for the game.

    This helps students all be able to get the same information without the hassle of what I like to call 'e-mail tag' when they are not in the classroom, for homework and such. But this also helps teachers get her students on the same website when they are in the classroom. A lot of the time spent in computer based classrooms especially with younger grades, is spent setting up the lesson and getting the students onto the webpage. This will decrease the instances of those issues and quicken the set up part of the lesson so there is more time for learning.

    What a good point - in substitute teaching I have also found that in the computer classrooms the kids spent half the class logging in and barely got to the work part. It would have been great to see more of the time spent productively in a way that works.

    Today ISTE Standards list digital citizenship as one of aspects, which all members of a school district should support. Today digital technology is growing at a fast rate not only in schools but also in society as a whole. Mike Ribble and his college Gerald Bailey wrote a book called "Digital Citizenship in schools." The book defines 9 key elements on how use technology in school, home and within the community. Among the 9 elements are 3 categories: Respect, Educate and Protect.     I agree that students should definitely be using more technology now days because its what they're used to. But I believe that younger students should be given a chance first to learn without technology. Normal teaching(without technology) can still work. We shouldn't give up on it.
