B-town beauty Lara Dutta, who is currently away from Bollywood, so that she could focus on raising her child, is set to put forth her designing skills as she will soon launch her own sari collection. She says that designing is her new baby."I have done films for 10 years. This is something new that I have forayed into; so it's my new baby. I am excited about the response from the customers," said Lara, who was in Delhi to launch her second sari range in association with Chhabra 555. Married to tennis player Mahesh Bhupathi, Dutta, 35, started designing last year, and it was then she created a whole line of saris. "The second collection is far more traditional. Personally I am a big fan of Benarasi saris and many other old-age fabrics; so I wanted to make those weaves younger and contemporary. Normally, we associate Benarasi saris with our aunts and our mothers, but I wanted to give it a younger and trendy feel," she said. Even though she is seen less on silver screen nowadays, Lara has no qualms. "I think each thing has its own space in life. I enjoyed being busy. My priority is my daughter. That will always be my number one priority. Now she is getting older, so I am getting more time to celebrate and concentrate on my own work; so here I am promoting the brand as much as possible," she said. Wish you luck!

She will be bestowed by Pegasus of the Region Tuscany Award by Cristina Scaletti, Tuscany's regional councilor of culture at the opening day of the fest.Other personalities and their films like Shyam Benegal’s Ankur, Mahesh Bhatt’s Arth, Vinay Shukla’s GodmOther and Deepa Mehta’s Fire will also screen. Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Ram-leela has kept the audience waiting eagerly for the movie ever since the release of its official trailer. Ishqyaun Dhishqyaun is one such song that has stirred the audience with the on-screen chemistry between Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh.Penned by Siddharth-Garima, the music is by the director Sanjay Leela Bhansali himself. The song has Deepika and Ranveer dancing in sync with each other and showing a naughty romance through their moves. Both the lead actors reportedly underwent strenuous rehearsals for the filming of the song. In-spite of the extensive practice session neither of the actors complained. In fact Ranveer was heard saying that he had a lot of fun while shooting for the song. Vishnu Dheva, who has choreographed the crazy steps for the foot-tapping song said “they’ve done their best”. Recently buzz had that Rajkummar Rao was ousted from upcoming film NH10, as actress and co-producer Anushka Sharma was not happy with him being the leading hero. For those unaware, Anushka is co-producing the action thriller with Phantom Films.Meanwhile, clearing the air regarding Anushka’s interference, Rao, 29, said that the decision to leave the project was mutual, and Anushka has nothing to do with this.  "I never signed NH 10 officially. I was supposed to do it. Then it got delayed. Then I moved on to other films like Kai Po Che and Shahid. Then I started working on another film. I can't do two films at the same time. I prefer doing one film at a time," said Rajkummar."So it was a mutual decision. I share a very good relation with the team. I think Anushka is also a very sensible girl. She is a really good actor and I don't think she will do anything like that," he added. It is said that it was Anushka’s call to replace Rajkummar with actor Neil Bhoopalam, who is currently seen in Anil Kapoor's 24.However, Rao says he has no issues with Anushka at all. Actress Vishakha Singh is now a known name in Bollywood after doing films like Fukrey, Bajatey Raho and Ankur Arora Murder Case. Latest it is learnt that she is ready to do more films as she has signed on few more projects.Her upcoming films, however, are in different languages. “These are The Maya Tape (Hindi), Thurram (Telugu), The Motorcycle Diaries (Malayalam) and Valeeba Raj (Tamil),” informs a source. But one thing that comes to notice is that despite being a Punjabi, she has not acted in one yet. Still, she has many language films in South, where she will be playing a lead role. “Doing four films at a time in itself is a big deal but considering that she is a Punjabi from Delhi, doing four film and that too in different languages is really something special,” says a close associate of the actress.“The Maya Tape, in which she is playing a reporter, sees her along with Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The horror thriller is being readied for release before year end while the other three would arrive in 2014. Moreover, she is also in talks to do more Hindi films, announcement of which would be made soon,” adds a source.Says Vishakha, “Yes, I am doing a lot of regional films. I realise that one should be constantly working. Moreover, South industry pays you much more as well so it is a good reason to be doing films there too.”Hope you achieve success with these films!

The women centric show Sasural Simar Ka on Colors has currently been revolving around the character of Jhanvi, played by Falaq Naaz. Initially Jhanvi was negative but now she has turned positive and now I can relate myself to the character of Jhanvi. Jhanvi has now become my identity. Gori Tere Pyaar Mein actor Imran Khan says he has had the best time working in the movie, and it was one of the most entertaining work experiences that he has had till date. "For me this is the most fun film. What makes it special is the chemistry and interaction between me and Kareena Kapoor Khan. That is what makes the film stand up," said Imran."Kareena and I have good chemistry. I think we look good together. Part of the reason is because inherently we understand each other as actors," said Imran, who was in London with his leading lady Kareena. The film has been helmed by Punit Malhotra, and produced by Karan Johar under the banner of Dharma Productions.The actor said that the film has the target audience in younger couples and the family audience. "Karan likes his films to reach out across the audiences and he likes to make his films family friendly. You can watch it with your parents and parents can take their kids to watch it," he said.He also added that it was picturised in many locations. "The first half is primarily shot in Bangalore where the romance begins. The second half was shot outside Bhuj in Gujarat, then Wai outside Pune in Maharashtra and then in Filmcity. It was a difficult film to shoot. We were shooting outdoors in the peak of summer in May and June - it was over 45 degrees every single day."The film comes out on November 22!

After coming out with the confession regarding his homosexuality, singer Ricky Martin felt liberated, and about the same, he spoke recently. It was in 2010 that Martin accepted being a gay, and claimed that it would be wonderful if he can successfully do that again.Martin, 41, said that he was really scared about the feedback of his peers. "I was terrified. I had to really work on my self esteem to understand that it`s all about self love, and other people`s opinions weren`t what was important," Martin wrote to a fan during a Facebook chat."What was important was accepting myself exactly as I am, as I was born. I insist, it wasn`t easy, but wow, I wish I could come out again because it felt like I could `high five` God`," he added. For those unaware, the singer has twins Matteo and Valentino via surrogacy. Earlier, the Livin` la Vida Loca hitmaker had also revealed that he used to bully those people who were gay. "I look back now and realise I would bully people who I knew were gay. I had internalized homophobia. To realise that was confronting to me. The name of her character is Vasudha, and she has completed the look with a bindi, traditional neck piece, earrings, mangtika and flower in her hair. In the picture, it is shown that she is getting engaged with male lead Imran Khan’s character Sriram, who also essays a South Indian boy named Sriram. The production house has also signed director Umesh Shukla for its second film that will feature Sonakshi Sinha as its protagonist. The belle, who has already proved her acting powers, is excited about the re-launch of Shotgun Films. “Everybody has their own production house today. Since we have in-house actors, director and producer, it’s all sorted. Dad later went into politics. As kids we knew he was in show business but didn't look beyond that. Bollywood is reeling with shock over the fallout between actor Sushant Singh Rajput filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor. It has been buzzing that former has refused to do latter’s film citing his date issues. Sushant was launched by Abhishek amidst full fanfare in commercially successful film Kai Po Che.
