Shilpa Shetty Kundra, who has been a vital actress in the Bollywood industry has done various kinds of roles in her career and is currently settling for the role of a filmmaker, with her movie Dishkiyaaoon in line. The actress says that she won’t act for the other 18 months, till the time her son Viaan doesn’t start understanding her work.The actress said, “I will take At least another year-and-a-half... till Viaan is able to communicate with me and understands my work. Then may be I will think of doing a film.”Shilpa is seen on the small screens now-a-days and is also seen doing many endorsements. The actress was last seen as the judge of the dance reality show Nach Baliye 5 and is gearing up to judge another season of the show.She said, “TV is easier, and for endorsements, I can command when I want to work. It's kind of suited to my current role - being a mother, the most wonderful role of my life. I am enjoying it.”She has taken a sabbatical from the industry as films take a lot of time, and she needs to give time to her son as well. She said, “Honestly, it is a self-imposed sabbatical. My priority definitely is Viaan at the moment. I haven't thought about films really, it's just too time consuming.”Talking about her production Dishkiyaaoon, the action thriller stars Harman Baweja and Sunny Deol in the lead roles. The movie will also introduce Ayesha Khanna to the industry.

Sudha Mishra (Maasiji) who is a 67 years old, divorced and grumpy woman with enormous energy and the ability to live in the present has just come back to her home in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. She is a mother to a confused and angry young man who has given up a career in television direction and her divorced husband is a playboy in L.A .While she was away, Sumit, her niece’s fiancé was given the responsibility to take care of the house and was clearly instructed to feed the fish & water the plants. His marriage was hinging on this.At the end of the holiday when Sudha reaches her quaint house and starts it’s inspection with detective accuracy. Had the fish been fed? Had her plants been watered?  She reaches the alcove with her beloved crystal fish bowl and collection of money plants. Everything seems to be in order but is it? As she opens her bedroom door she is taken aback by a woman rushing past her.Sumit had thrown the helluva party for all his friends at Sudha's house and broken all the rules as instructed by her and also handed over the house to an eloping couple, who then handed it over to a miscreant property broker. The house is then taken over by a Haryanvi Jaat who is a cross dressing Kathak Dancer, followed by a tribal family from Mizoram.What ensues is a recap of the events that took place beginning from when Sudha left her house in Sumit’s hands. The mystery unravels almost as a game of Chinese Whisper. The film stars Dimple Kapadia, Manjot Singh, Anand Tiwari, Manu Rishi and others. It releases on December 13, 2013!

Films capture journeys but in Imtiaz Ali's much-awaited Highway, the journey has made the film. Presented by Sajid Nadiadwala and starring Alia Bhatt and Randeep Hooda, the film traverses six states of north India and captures the landscape of the different regions as it goes along.Highway Diaries, are short video snippets that capture the journey of the film and all the exciting experiences that the cast and crew had during its making.In the latest episode of Highway Diaries titled 'Songs of the Valley', Imtiaz Ali is seen sitting with gujari folk singer Begum Jaan and her group, engrossed in  their music, while shooting for' Highway' at Aru valley in Kashmir. He says, “...while it (the song) should connect with the larger experience that Veera (Alia's character) has in the film, it should still be about that time and place..and its music."The film comes out in February!

TV actor Jay Soni is keen to participate in celebrity couple dance reality show Nach Baliye and even approached for the current season with her fiancé Pooja Shah, however, they did not take it up owing to certain reasons.Jay, who admits that makers of NB offered him participation, shares the reason why he couldn’t take the show. “Yes, as soon as we got engaged, we were offered Nach Baliye. But as you all are aware, my fiancée is not from the industry, and mine is an arranged relationship. So she will require her own time to get into the groove of things. Also, dancing will be something new for her and I will want her to take enough time to give her acceptance to doing the show,” he expressed.Jay, who won million hearts as the innocent and simple Ishaan in Sasural Genda Phool, also adds that not only he but Pooja also follows Nach Baliye diligently. He says Pooja is now getting the facts right about the competition. “The contest is sinking into her mind right now. So hopefully we will be participating in the dance reality show next year,” averred Jay.He also says that with Sanskaar 2 going on, he could not accept Nach Baliye this time around. “One more reason for us not taking up Nach Baliye is because I am presently busy with Sanskaar –Dharohar Apnon Ki Season 2. I love my work, and I am presently enjoying the twists and turns in the show.”Talking about the daily soap, Jay said, “Well, with Dipika (Pooja Kanwal) entering, there is a love triangle in the show. And viewers are really concerned about the girl that Kishan will choose for himself.”Jay, we hope to see you with your Baliye in the next season of Nach Baliye.

Latest buzz from the well-placed sources in Tinseltown has that actress Rose McGowan has walked down the aisle with her artist fiancé Davey Detail. Close sources informed that the pretty-faced actress, 40, donned a Monique Lhuillier gown for the outdoor Jewish ceremony that took place at the Paramour Mansion in LA. The wedding was attended by family and few close friends only."The ceremony was enchanting and magical. The couple wed in front of about 60 people, all close friends and immediate family of the bride and groom," sources said. What is rather interesting is that the big moment came in McGowan’s life just week after fire had broke into her home, damaging it totally.Now it is expected that the couple would celebrate their honeymoon in Tahiti. Few days back, the actress had said, "I've never been to Tahiti. I've always dreamed of having one of those little huts over the water."Gushing over Detail, she had exclaimed, "He's magic. He's made me a better woman. And I've made him a better man!"You may know that the two had been dating since last year, and Detail had proposed McGowan over the summer. The youngest, cutest but a non-performer of Bigg Boss house, Pratyusha Banerjee  has been eliminated from the house after a tough vote-out last Saturday. She was in elimination with likes Gauhar Khan, Kamya Punjabi, Tanisha Mukherjee and Ajaz Khan. It was said to be the toughest vote-out of the season, where each contestant was equally important to the show.Talking about the experience on the show, Pratyusha admits that she felt vulnerable and unprotected as one of the inmates. “I was the youngest and I am also a very private person. I connect with very few close friends in real life. Suddenly, I was thrown together with all these people I had never met. Everyone in there was much older than me. It was scary. But it was also a challenge. I’ve come away from the experience much stronger and I’d like to think wiser.”Pratyusha is said to have dropped her popular show Balika Vadhu to participate in Bigg Boss. She added that she have made some good friends in there. “Kamya Punjabi was my best friend in there. I also grew very close to Armaanji (Armaan Kohli), Tanisha Mukherjee and very recently Ajaz Khan who entered Bigg Boss very late. They’re my friends for life.”As for doing another reality show, Pratyusha said, “Not for a very long time. And even if I am offered one, I’d think very carefully before doing it. Right now I only want my old life back.”About some memories in the house, she said, “No one had anything bad to say about me. I’d rather not think about the unpleasant side of the experience. Bigg Boss is the biggest reality-show in India, and perhaps in the world. I went into it on a clean slate. I had completed all my pending assignments and put a closure on personal issues. In the past we have seen Chetan Bhagat’s books making it big whenever adapted for silver screen. There has been screen-adaptation of his books like Five Point Someone (3 Idiots) One Night At A Call Centre (Hello), Three Mistakes of My Life (Kai Po Che), and 2 States is still under the production.And now, the latest buzz has that another of his book will be adapted on big screen. This time Bhagat has teamed up with Disney UTV, for his latest bestseller Revolution 2020, which is to be directed by Raj Kumar Gupta. For those unaware, the novel talks down the lives of three childhood friends, Gopal, Raghav and Aarti."It is an intense love story set against the backdrop of corruption in the education sector, which affects millions across the country. I can't wait for the three characters to be cast and brought to life," said Bhagat. On his part, Raj Kumar says, "When I read the novel, I was quite moved. It is a very simple and heartfelt story about being young, being confused, being in love, getting corrupt... I am looking forward to writing and directing this book for the screen."Siddharth Roy Kapur, Managing Director, Studios, Disney UTV, adds, "We are excited to have played the catalyst in bringing Chetan and Raj Kumar together. Chetan had shared the draft of his book with us even before it was published and we instantly reacted to its cinematic potential. It has an incredibly well-graphed storyline and the issues it deals with are those that today's youth will instantly relate to and identify with." The screenplay of the film is currently underway and is expected to go on floors mid-2014.

Doing an initiative along with The Clean & Clear MTV Dream Project, which helps to fulfill the dreams of over a thousand homeless girls, Bollywood actor Kunal Kapoor feels he is living his dream. The initiative is a joint project of M.A.D and The Clean & Clear that has titled Ketto. The actor, who has provided professional services through Ketto, has personally helped fulfill 17-year-old Manisha's dream, through a platform that connects people to a 1000 young, underprivileged girls across India, to make their small yet precious dreams come true. In Manisha's case, it meant a cycle to take her younger siblings to school.Kunal expressed, “Initiatives such as these help individuals like us to fulfill the dreams of these girls. When I got the chance to be that helping hand for Manisha to achieve her simple yet precious dream, I felt so much happiness! More so, I was very moved by what her dream was, she did not want the cycle for herself but for her siblings. I hope that girls like Manisha never stop dreaming.”Manisha, whose father is a cancer patient, has been living in Mumbai with her family for the last 12 years. She said, “My father has been suffering from cancer for quite a while. My mother has to spend most of her time in the hospital, to meet doctors, buy medicines and support my father. I did my best to make our lives better. Being the eldest child, I took the responsibility of taking care of the house and my younger siblings. The play school they go to is very far, and I walk everyday to pick them up as they cannot come on their own. That is why my dream was to own a cycle, so that I pick them up and come home safe and continue with my other tasks.”We appreciate your move Kunal.

Hollywood director Danny Boyle, who is best known in India for his film Slumdog Millionaire which starred Indian-origin actors Dev Patel and Freida Pinto, is all set to helm a feature adaptation of the documentary Smash and Grab: The Story of the Pink Panthers.For those unaware, the original documentary came out last year, and it talked about the world`s most successful diamond thieves. What was further intriguing about the project was that it showed a clip captured on CCTV and also the interviews with several members of the gang.After watching the documentary, Boyle decided to adapt it to silver screen, and with this, his long-term producing partner Christian Colson came on board. It is learnt that the filmmaker is going the produce the film through his Cloud Eight Films banner. Meanwhile, it is going to be co-financed by Pathe and Fox Searchlight. It was said that Boyle would search for his next project once he was once with his directorial Trance, which was a heist film, and starred James McAvoy as a London art dealer who is forced to assist in the theft of a Goya painting.Way to go!
