The film Shahid has had a great impact on the brother of the slain lawyer Shahid Azmi. The movie which is made on the life of Shahid Azmi has had a great impact on his brother who saw the movies on Friday.Shahid’s brother Khalid Azmi said, “Our family has gone through a lot. It's a very emotional moment for us. I have watched this film before, and yesterday I watched the film again with my family. I got very emotional. The film (tells) a part of my life, so it is very realistic and everything comes alive before my eyes.”The movie starring Rajkumar Yadav in the lead role is about the life story of Shahid Azam who was the defending lawyer of 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks co-accused Faheem Ansari. He was shot dead in his office in 2010. Shahid’s brother also went on to saying that some portions of the movie were also shot in his office and colony.He said, “I provided them with all the information. I also spent a lot of time with Rajkumar and told him how Shahid used to be. They shot a few portions in his office and his colony.”This proud brother seems to have taken a lot of efforts for his dead brother and we hope for the movie to be liked by everyone who watches it.

Even though Salman Khan has worked with renowned filmmakers liked Karan Johar  and Sanjay Leela Bhansali in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Saawariya, respectively, but now the two of them have not worked with the actors since quite some time.And this fact came out on his television show Bigg Boss 7 when Kareena Kapoor and Imran Khan came on the show to promote their upcoming film Gori Tere Pyaar Mein, directed by Punit Malhotra.It started when Salman quizzed Kareena whether she is punctual on her film’s sets. The actress replied saying, ''Just like you, I also come late on the sets.'' This statement made Salman immediately comment, ''Because of actresses like you, a professional actor like me has a bad name in the industry. Everyone thinks I come late.'' He further added, ''That is the reason why directors like Karan Johar, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and all these people don't want to work with me. Not fair. You are spoiling my name, reputation.'' Hope KJo and SLB are paying attention to this. We wonder if they soon offer him their next directorial!

Telly industry’s one of the most sought after anchors, Manish Paul is set jump high from small screen to 70mm screen with his upcoming film Mickey Virus. He is busy doing promotions for the film which is slated to release on October 25. He is excited and feels proud to see his hoardings all over Mumbai. He says it's a dream come true.An elated lad said, “It's a dream come true. I have got a solo lead film, my hoardings are all over Mumbai...I used to see film hoardings around Juhu whenever I visited Mumbai as a kid. So, it's a dream come true.”Manish, who is sharing a screen space with debutant Elli Avram, further adds that all actors who come to Mumbai aims to do films. “I also had similar dreams when I came to Mumbai in 2005. But I thought I needed grooming. I didn't have a filmy background, and so I did television, radio jockeying and then I thought it's the right time to do films,” said Manish, who was last seen anchoring in Colors’ Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.Elli Avram, who hails from Greek, is currently seen in reality show Bigg Boss Saath-7. Colors’ popular show Balika Vadhu will soon witness a new entry on the show in form of talented actor Avinash Wadhawan. The makers have crafted an interesting plot along with the character of Avinash, who will bring hiccups in protagonist Jagya (Shashank Vyas) and Ganga’s (Sargun Mehta) life. Yes, the couple who have got married recently will face a major problem with the entry of Avinash’s character.Currently, Ganga is seen facing difficulties with her work in hospital as a nurse and at home as an idol bahu, who is supposed to take care about the whole family. In the coming episodes, Avinash Wadhawan will enter as a negative character and put her life on troubles.An excited actor Avinash Wadhawan, who was last appeared on TV show Junoon Aisi Nafrat, Toh Kaisa Ishq, says it is always good to be associated with Colors channel. “This is the second time I will work with Colors. Earlier, I played Kalishwer in Rajan Shahi's Maat Pitaah Ke Charnon Mein Swarg. This time I will be seen in their flagship show Balika Vadhu. My character in Balika Vadhu is very intense. It has many shades,” said Avinash, who has also seen in films like Geet, Junoon and Papi Gudia.He added about the shooting experience. “It is very exciting to be part of a cult show like Balika Vadhu and to be associated with Colors. While other side, Ranveer, who allegedly dated Anushka Sharma is also seems moved on from his former relationship. Their film, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, is releasing on November 15.

Director Karan Johar feels proud that all of his highlighted actors, including Alia Bhatt, Sana Seed, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra are doing extremely well in the industry.Karan tweeted, “SOTY completes a year today! I am really proud of my three students and the entire cast and crew of this young, fun and special film of my career,” Karan posted on Twitter on Saturday (October 19, 2013). Student Of The Year released on October 19, 2012.The film proved to be a good launch-pad for its three lead actors, who managed to pocket plum Bollywood projects post the film's release.  Alia, daughter of filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, will be seen in Imitiaz Ali's Highway and Abhishek Verman's 2 States. Thanking Karan, Alia tweeted, “SOTY completes one year and so do I.. one year since I've been in the industry! Thank you Karan Johar for giving us the perfect break.”Based on a school competition, the romantic-comedy revolves around the lives of three college students, played by mentioned actors. Son of filmmaker David Dhawan, Varun is working on his father's Main Tera Hero, while model-turned-actor Siddharth has just finished shooting Hasee Toh Phasee. He also has Ekta Kapoor's The Villain in his kitty.Kudos guys!
