Upcoming film Khoobsurat will be a family entertainment that has Sonam Kapoor as its leading lady, Anil Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor as its producers. It would be produced by The Walt Disney Studios and proud father Anil said it is going to be a happy venture.“My daughters have grown up watching Disney movies, so it's exciting to see this collaboration. We have worked hard on the script and are sure the film will have universal appeal,” said Anil Kapoor, who is currently enthralling TV audience with his debut show 24 on Colors channel.Talking about the upcoming family production film, Khoobsurat has just gone on floors in Bikaner, Rajasthan. It revolves around Mili (Sonam), a vivacious girl who turns the lives of a royal family upside down. For the film, Sonam, who is known for his fashion has gone to adopt a de-glam look. About the film she said, “When you look at Walt Disney's life, his whole purpose was to entertain people and make them happy. And, in this film, Mili makes things happy and Khoobsurat.”Disney UTV’s Managing Director Siddharth Roy Kapur, further added, “The script is endearing and entertaining... it will be a fun experience for the whole family.”Khoobsurat will also see Kirron Kher, Ratna Pathak Shah and Aamir Raza Hussain and being directed and  written by ad-filmmaker Shashank Ghosh. It is scheduled to hit theatres in mid-2014.

Bollywood actor Uday Chopra is already 41, still he is in no hurry to get married and even there is no pressure from his family as well. As of now, he is busy establishing Yash Raj Films (YRF) Entertainment abroad. Speaking to the sources recently, he said that getting marriage is not the only option today.Currently, he lives in Los Angeles, from where he manages his home banner's Hollywood wing> but nowadays he is in Mumbai for the promotions of his upcoming film Dhoom: 3, where he plays the character of Ali.Even though he has belief in marriage as an institution, still he feels that it depends on what works. TV actor Jay Soni is keen to participate in celebrity couple dance reality show Nach Baliye and even approached for the current season with her fiancé Pooja Shah, however, they did not take it up owing to certain reasons.Jay, who admits that makers of NB offered him participation, shares the reason why he couldn’t take the show. “Yes, as soon as we got engaged, we were offered Nach Baliye. But as you all are aware, my fiancée is not from the industry, and mine is an arranged relationship. So she will require her own time to get into the groove of things. Also, dancing will be something new for her and I will want her to take enough time to give her acceptance to doing the show,” he expressed.Jay, who won million hearts as the innocent and simple Ishaan in Sasural Genda Phool, also adds that not only he but Pooja also follows Nach Baliye diligently. He says Pooja is now getting the facts right about the competition. “The contest is sinking into her mind right now. If buzz has to be believed, filmmaker Prabhu Deva has roped in London-born Scarlett Wilson for an item song for his upcoming movie R...Rajkumar, which will feature Sonu Sood along with her. The model-turned-actress earlier grooved in item number Imported Kamariya in Emraan Hashmi-Kalki Koechlin starrer Shanghai. She also gyrated to Naagin Naagin song in comedy flick Bajatey Raho. Both songs worked well at music charts and were liked by music buffs.Now, latest report says Scarlett will also shake her leg in Prabhu Deva’s action-thriller R…Rajkumar that features Shahid Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha in lead roles. If everything goes correct, the film’s villain Sonu Sood will be seen dancing on the item song with Wilson.  Scarlett has shot for a day for the item number. According to the sources, “After the untimely demise of Shrihari, who features in a pivotal role in the movie there is a break in the shoot of the song. Apparently, Shrihari was also a part of the song and shot for it a day before he passed away. Sonu Sood and Scarlett will gyrate when the shooting resumes this Thursday.”Let’s see if Scarlett’s presence will work in favour of the film or not. The film is releasing on December 6.

Speculations were rife of late that Kareena Kapoor Khan was set to get paired up with her Bodyguard co-star Salman Khan yet again for one of the most awaited films, to be directed by Sooraj Barjatya.With the movie, Salman is coming back with Sooraj Barjatya after the gap of 14 years, as they last worked together in Hum Saath Saath Hain. Earlier reports said that actresses from Diana Penty, Katrina Kaif, Anushka Sharma, Parineeti Chopra to Ileana D’Cruz were approached for the role.And latest the sources claimed Salman has recommended his co-star of films like Mr. and Mrs. Khanna, Kyunki, and Bodyguard for the movie. It was also said that she has already been signed for the same, however, the further reports from sources has that the rumours are not true at all."There is no truth in it. We have not finalised anyone yet. Lot of speculation is happening over who the heroine will be but we are yet to finalise things. In a month's time, we would decide," sources said. The makers are yet to set the title of the film, which would go on the floors in June next year. The shooting might take place in Mumbai, Gujarat and Rajasthan.

Here’s one more high-profiled project landed in the kitty of petite actress Parineeti Chopra. She has signed another romantic film titled Daawat-e-Ishq post two hit films Ishaqzaade and Shuddh Desi Romance. The project will be directed by Do Dooni Char and Ishaqzaade fame Habib Faisal and features Aditya Roy Kapur, Karan Wahi in the male lead roles. Anupam Kher would be seen essaying supporting character in the film, which is said to be a romantic comedy.Parineeti will work for the second time with Habib, while it would be her first venture with Aditya Roy, who rose to fame with Aashiqui 2. Karan Wahi, popular TV actor who has done shows like Dill Mill Gyye, Kuch Toh Loh Kahenge, Indian Idol Junior (hosting), will make his debut with the film. Veteran actor Anupam Kher confirmed the news sharing it on his micro-blogging site, “Delighted to be part of Daawat-e-Ishq with Parineeti Chopra, Habib Faisal, Aditya Roy Kapur and Karan Wahi.”Currently Parineeti is busy shooting for director Vinil Mathew on his project Hasee Toh Phasee, being produced by Karan Johar. Actor Jimmy Shergil and director Tigmanshu Dhulia’s collaboration has been running ever since the latter debuted in Bollywood with Haasil. Be it Charas, Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster, Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns or latest release Bullett Raja, Jimmy is one common thing in all the mentioned films.Released on November 28, Bullett Raja features Saif Ali Khan in the title role with his lady of affection being Sonakshi Sinha. Jimmy plays Saif’s partner in crime and has covered prominent part in the film. While Saif plays a character with an adventurous streak, Jimmy plays a much more headstrong guy.“The three of us have a lot of sequences together though, as you can see from the promos. The film's script is such that it brings us together. It would definitely have been a different space for Sonakshi to be working with Tigmanshu. However I could sense that Sonakshi was comfortable in what she was doing. As for Saif then well, he adapted to things so well from day one. He was bang on as the character. According to me, it is one of his finest performances. No one has ever seen Saif on these lines,” averred Jimmy.About the director, he added, “Tigmanshu was clear from the very beginning during the narration stage itself that bond between Saif and I had to be very prominent right through the film's narrative. Bigg Boss is well-known for its surprising twists and turns. Recently, they crafted a fake elimination and Armaan got evicted in the process. Everybody thought he is out from the show but Armaan has been shifted to the bonus room where he was welcomed by host of the show Salman Khan. Salman introduced him about the plan of BB. In the bonus room Armaan will also get live feeds from the house. After watching few clippings of the contestants, he finds that Kushal and Sangram are joyous about his exit while Tanisha and Andy are visibly upset. If source has to be believed, it was said that Ajay Devgn, brother-in-law of Tanisha had asked the makers to evict Tanisha from the show as she had bold antics with Armaan in recent episodes. After having high level meeting it was conducted to handle the situation by the makers. They said Tanisha will be eliminated by Bigg Boss in coming days. But, now it looks the makers have eliminated Armaan instead.Although, this elimination is for only a short period of time, Armaan and Tanisha will get separated. Looks like it is a smart move by the makers indeed. Now, Armaan is staying in the secret area of the house, observing the activities of other inmates for some days, before being called into the house again.Though Armaan and Tanisha have been kept apart as per the family’s intervention of the actress, the act of separating works or not, would only be seen in the coming days.
