In the past we have seen Chetan Bhagat’s books making it big whenever adapted for silver screen. There has been screen-adaptation of his books like Five Point Someone (3 Idiots) One Night At A Call Centre (Hello), Three Mistakes of My Life (Kai Po Che), and 2 States is still under the production.And now, the latest buzz has that another of his book will be adapted on big screen. This time Bhagat has teamed up with Disney UTV, for his latest bestseller Revolution 2020, which is to be directed by Raj Kumar Gupta. For those unaware, the novel talks down the lives of three childhood friends, Gopal, Raghav and Aarti."It is an intense love story set against the backdrop of corruption in the education sector, which affects millions across the country. I can't wait for the three characters to be cast and brought to life," said Bhagat. On his part, Raj Kumar says, "When I read the novel, I was quite moved. It is a very simple and heartfelt story about being young, being confused, being in love, getting corrupt... I am looking forward to writing and directing this book for the screen."Siddharth Roy Kapur, Managing Director, Studios, Disney UTV, adds, "We are excited to have played the catalyst in bringing Chetan and Raj Kumar together. Chetan had shared the draft of his book with us even before it was published and we instantly reacted to its cinematic potential. It has an incredibly well-graphed storyline and the issues it deals with are those that today's youth will instantly relate to and identify with." The screenplay of the film is currently underway and is expected to go on floors mid-2014.

It’s time for actress Jennifer Lawrence to make a cameo appearance in the Dumb and Dumber sequel. The 23-year-old Oscar - winning actress was spotted on the set of the highly-anticipated comedy in Atlanta to play the younger model of Kathleen Turner's character.You may know that in the past Lawrence was heard revealing her interest in the original 1994 flick to late-night host Jimmy Fallon back in January. "I know every word to 'Dumb and Dumber,' 'Step Brothers' and 'Anchorman,'" she had said.And when Fallon asked the beautiful actress on the lines from the films, she came up with all the right answers. Shooting for a cameo was not a tough task for Lawrence as she is currently filming the Hunger Games trilogy in Georgia, which happens to be the same state where Dumb and Dumber 2 is being shot at the moment.The film’s actors, Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels shared photos from the set this week dressed in full costumes as, Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne, the characters they play in the movie. For the uninitiated, in the sequel, they funnymen would be on the road trip searching for Harry's long-lost daughter.Dumb and Dumber To is set to hit theaters in 2014!

After being on the editor-desk and producing the last installments of Paranormal Activity, Gregory Plotkin is now coming on board as the director of the fifth installment of the horror franchise. Earlier, Plotkin had produced Paranormal Activity horror franchise, including the spin-off Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones. Now he is getting ready to helm the forthcoming sequel Paranormal Activity 5, arriving in October of 2014. Besides his work in the successful horror franchise which started in 2009, Plotkin has given his contribution as sub editor or assistant editor on some big films like The Break-Up, Friday Night Lights, The Insider. Apart from that he has also worked as a visual effects assistant editor on Pleasantville.The audience is keeping a tab on where the fifth installment of the franchisee will head towards as the last film really upped the ante as far as the spirit world. Almanac screenwriters Jason Pagan and Andrew Stark have come on board to pen the sequel. It will be produced by Jason Blum and Oren Peli.Let’s see if Plotkin succeeds in taking the franchisee to an all new level. We hope the film churns big money upon its release next year!

Bollywood curly haired actress Kangana Ranaut, who plays a lethal mutant Kaya in Krrish 3, a prostitute in Rajjo, a dacoit-cum-gangster in Revolver Rani and a Delhi based next-to-door girl in Queen, is satisfied with her work she did in different genres of films. She says her dream of portraying a super girl in movies has come true with Krrish 3, directed by Rakesh Roshan and featuring Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra and Vivek Oberoi.Kangana says she always wanted to play characters with the qualities of a supergirl. She says her dream has comes true thanks to her roles of Kaya. “I am already playing my dream role in Revolver Rani, Queen and Krrish 3. I always wanted to play a supergirl and I am getting to do that. So it's a dream come true,” said Kangana, who is feeling blessed to get powerful roles in Revolver Rani and Queen as well.Currently busy in promotion activities of Krrish 3, last visited TV show Comedy Night with Kapil, Kananga is all pack in the upcoming season. Her films are lined up to release giving her busy schedule to pursue without interruption. The promo of her film Rajjo has also been starting raising eyebrows. Kangana went to great lengths to prepare for her role as a mujrewali in Rajjo, directed by Vishwas Patil. The film is a love story between her, a Muslim, and a teenage Brahmin boy, essayed by Paras Arora.Krrish 3 is releasing on November 4.

Veteran film actress and social activist Shabana Azmi says that she was brought up in such a manner that she pays huge attention while selecting a movie. Azmi was speaking as the chief guest for the 18th International Film Festival of Kerala, which started on Friday night.While addressing the sources, Shabana revealed how happy she felt looking at the participation of the audience in the festival. Azmi is someone who believes that a social message must come from a film, and she feels that the director is responsible for the same. "My family and the way in which I was bought up influenced my selection of movies across all genres," Azmi said.Azmi said, "I have trust and faith on the upcoming directors as they were reflecting reality based on what they have seen and experienced in life in cities. Masters like Satyajit Ray and Mrinal Sen portrayed rural life, as it was the reality they had seen in their life time."Quizzed if she would like to take up Malayalam films, Azmi said, "While acting, it is important for me to understand the meaning of the language."We applaud your belief!

Walker was aged 40 when he died.The autopsy report said that the actor died from traumatic and thermal injuries following his horrific car crash. However, his family is yet to come in terms with his sudden demise. Now the family is looking forward to bid an emotional final goodbye to Paul. "They have not decided when the funeral will take place, it is still a work in progress," said a source. "They want to make sure that everyone who wants to mourn will be together and all schedules match. They hopefully will have more of an idea next week," the source added. Alba, 32 says that it wouldn’t have been possible for her to juggle with her film career, eco-friendly baby products line, new lifestyle book and also raising daughters Honor-five, and Haven, two, had not her hubby supported her."Cash is the best husband in the world. I would not have been able to keep my company going and do the book if I didn`t have him there for me and help with the children. He is always very considerate and understanding of who I am and my goals.
