Showman Entertainment Mohammed Fasih along with Percept live Harindra Singh is back with another feet tapping experience for the music lover –BollyBoom. They launched World First Bollywood Electro Music Festival and hosted a grand musical party at Hype, Worli where Sonu Nigam, Salim- Sulaiman and DJ Lloyd presented the all new Bollywood electro music. Sonu Nigam was seen giving a bombastic performance and sung his hits with the mix of electro music which made people go grove on their feet, he said, “This music will set a benchmark in live entertainment and will have state of the art technology which will add a new facet in enhancing the music lovers experience.” Shama Sikander and Alex o’ Neil raised the temperature of the party through their moves. Vindu Dara singh was seen dancing with his beautiful wife Dina Umarova. They said, “It’s a blend of trance, Hip-Hop, electro funk, sufi among others. There will be an infusion of electronic beats that promise to take the Bollywood music to another level.”The stage was set; the lights were lit up with the LED screen and the ambience which looked pretty impressive. DJ Lloyd sparks the fire on the stage through his mind-blowing electro music performance which makes the audience crazy. Bollywood actress Vidya Malvade was seen shaking his legs and experienced the blend of music.Others who were seen enjoying the party are Rohit Roy, Candy Brar, Nisha Jamwal, Sophy Khan, Vikas Bhalla, Anup Soni, Reshma D’souza, Naved Jaffery, Sudhanshu Pandey, Rehan Shah, Arjun Bijlani, Poonam Dhillon and Satish Reddy. In the past we have seen Chetan Bhagat’s books making it big whenever adapted for silver screen. There has been screen-adaptation of his books like Five Point Someone (3 Idiots) One Night At A Call Centre (Hello), Three Mistakes of My Life (Kai Po Che), and 2 States is still under the production.And now, the latest buzz has that another of his book will be adapted on big screen. This time Bhagat has teamed up with Disney UTV, for his latest bestseller Revolution 2020, which is to be directed by Raj Kumar Gupta. For those unaware, the novel talks down the lives of three childhood friends, Gopal, Raghav and Aarti."It is an intense love story set against the backdrop of corruption in the education sector, which affects millions across the country. I can't wait for the three characters to be cast and brought to life," said Bhagat. On his part, Raj Kumar says, "When I read the novel, I was quite moved. It is a very simple and heartfelt story about being young, being confused, being in love, getting corrupt... I am looking forward to writing and directing this book for the screen."Siddharth Roy Kapur, Managing Director, Studios, Disney UTV, adds, "We are excited to have played the catalyst in bringing Chetan and Raj Kumar together. Chetan had shared the draft of his book with us even before it was published and we instantly reacted to its cinematic potential. It has an incredibly well-graphed storyline and the issues it deals with are those that today's youth will instantly relate to and identify with." The screenplay of the film is currently underway and is expected to go on floors mid-2014.

Prabhu Dheva’s next, R…Rajkumar is enjoying all the right buzz, with the release of the trailer and positive responses pouring in. The online release of the trailer had a surprise element for Shahid’s fans. The end of the trailer has Shahid Kapoor appearing on-screen and making an engaging appeal.The result of this activity was certainly fruitful.  The trailer on YouTube has over 2 million views. The idea of Shahid’s appearance undoubtedly ensured user engagement. The activity was highly successful with over 32,000 likes, highest amongst its contemporaries (trailers of films releasing around the same time). The trailer has certainly struck a chord going by the audience response. Promising to be a film for the masses, R…Rajkumar is a complete Bollywood package with action, comedy and romance. The trailer has Shahid in the character of Rajkumar, talking about the trailer and asking for the audience feedback and action. Producer Viki Rajani states, “The movie has a mass appeal and Shahid has been the right choice to play the lead. Prabhu Dheva has lent his trademark flavor to the film and the combination of their energies is infectious. We are glad that idea of the small appearance of Shahid in the end has worked. After winning million fans as the protagonist, Maanvi, in Star Plus’ hit show Ek Hazaaro Mein Meri Behena Hai, the pretty and vivacious Niaa Sharma went missing from the screen.And now, she is coming back with a new show. She will anchor the finale episode of MTV Webbed, being produced by Lost Boy Productions and Balaji Telefilms. It is based on cyber crime and the final episode will air on 15 December 2013. Actors like Veebha Anand, Vrinda Dawda and Chestha Bhagat will be seen in the finale episode.Confirming the report, Niaa said, “Yes, I have already shot for the final episode and it was super fun shooting after a while now. I got opportunity to showcase my hosting skills after a long time. I did anchor a bit during my school days. In daily soaps, you have to enact a character but here I have to be myself. I always wanted to be a part of a youth show and I am happy to host MTV Webbed.”Talking about anchoring whether she would like to do more in the same field or concentrate more on acting, Niaa said, “Yes, I would love to. But according to me, hosting business is male dominated in Indian television. The way men can mimic or crack any kind of joke, it connects with viewers. It doesn’t mean female can’t do it but daily soaps are female oriented and anchoring is male dominated.”Indeed, good news for her fans!

TV actor Jay Soni is keen to participate in celebrity couple dance reality show Nach Baliye and even approached for the current season with her fiancé Pooja Shah, however, they did not take it up owing to certain reasons.Jay, who admits that makers of NB offered him participation, shares the reason why he couldn’t take the show. “Yes, as soon as we got engaged, we were offered Nach Baliye. But as you all are aware, my fiancée is not from the industry, and mine is an arranged relationship. So she will require her own time to get into the groove of things. Also, dancing will be something new for her and I will want her to take enough time to give her acceptance to doing the show,” he expressed.Jay, who won million hearts as the innocent and simple Ishaan in Sasural Genda Phool, also adds that not only he but Pooja also follows Nach Baliye diligently. He says Pooja is now getting the facts right about the competition. “The contest is sinking into her mind right now. So hopefully we will be participating in the dance reality show next year,” averred Jay.He also says that with Sanskaar 2 going on, he could not accept Nach Baliye this time around. “One more reason for us not taking up Nach Baliye is because I am presently busy with Sanskaar –Dharohar Apnon Ki Season 2. I love my work, and I am presently enjoying the twists and turns in the show.”Talking about the daily soap, Jay said, “Well, with Dipika (Pooja Kanwal) entering, there is a love triangle in the show. The song from exotic looking Deepika Padukone and dapper dhoti-clad Ranveer Singh to rocking garba moves and melodious voices features everything in one composition. Thanks to the choreography which beautifully captures the Navratri festive spirit.The film director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, well-known for his art-work in his films, has worked on the music section of the film himself. From costumes designing of the lead protagonists to look of the song, he has given his own style to the track. He himself worked on the outfit of Deepika, who is looking drop dead gorgeous in her red lehenga, while Ranveer is looking quite splendid in his red turban.  The song, released on the festivity of Navratri, has turned extremely popular among garba lovers and is heard playing during the entire Dandiya festival. The song will remind you off Aishwarya Rai and Salman Khan's Dholi Taro Dhol Baaje song from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. However, this peppy number is rocking with its dance moves, foot-tapping beats and the sizzling chemistry between Deepika and Ranveer.We must say this is a huge feat for the entire team as it is a highly awaited film from SLB's kitty. The film is slated to release on November 15, 2013.

If Sylvester Stallone-Arnold Schwarzenegger combination The Expendables 2 was Rowdy Rathore, Trust me Escape Plan is Ra.One and Trimurti of Hollywood. My first question is why this film is directed by Mikael Hafstrom. Mikael Hafstrom is a director who made some commendable Horror/Thrillers such as The Rite (Anthony Hopkins), Shanghai (John Cusack), Derailed and one of my favorite 1408 (John Cusack and Samuel L Jackson). 1408 still scares the hell out of me.Take a close look at the film Escape Plan's trailer and i promise you will know the entire plot of the movie. But a craziest fan of Arnie and Stallone (Like myself, Of course) you would like to watch the two biggest super action (Aging) stars on the screen.Ray Breslin (Sylvester Stallone), an expert of breaking out of federal maximum security prisons who is hoodwinked into testing a new privately run facility for people who should not be allowed out in the real world. In the allegedly escape-proof prison (Which was designed with references from Ray's book), known as The Tomb, he meets Rottmayer (Arnold Schwarzenegger -Appears exactly after 35 minutes of the Film). And together they plot their eventual liberation.Just when you start to feel Escape Plan can become Stallone's 90's Lock Up and Arnie's Terminator 2 (Both fantastic films of the stars respectively),The movie starts becoming easy and ill-logical. The Prison Doctor (Sam Neill) who gets so easily convinced by Ray (In hardly few seconds), and arranges the Helicopter along with Guns etc for their escape. Ray's partner's involvement with Warden Hobbs (Jim Caveizel). And of course the hopeless climax which will definitely make you think what went wrong with Arnie-Stallone's head while coming on board for this movie.Oh? Did i miss the "Muslim" inmate who helps both Arnold and Stallone in their Escape? Gosh! That was so Bollywoodish!Speaking of performances, Stallone is good but handicapped by a bad script. Arnold appears just how Jackie Shroff used to appear in films that were made after 2000. Stallone uses Arnold as a "Chai-Wala' in the whole film and Arnold looked very comfortable doing this part (I am still surprised). Sam Neill is another example of any Kiran Kumar's character from any Bollywood Film. Jim Caveizel is a wonderful talent wasted in this Multi Million dollar "Proposal". Now, Why do i call this one as a "Proposal"? Because, I heard somewhere that Hollywood and Bollywood make such kinds of film to lure the Audiences and fails miserably.Mikael Hafstrom, as I pointed out earlier is good at his Horror/Thriller works. He is not capable in making or executing an action flick which he proves with Escape Plan. The Production Value, Camera Work is good but doesn't help a Bad Script. The Screenplay and Editing is jerky and boring. If you (Still Dare To) see the film, There are lots of unanswered questions.Escape Plan does not even works for its Action, Because it does not have it. I will also not recommend you to rent the film on DVD or Blu Ray because such films are best on the Free Television Premiere which i guess will happen soon. I feel sorry for Heroes such as Arnold Schwarzenegger (Especially) and Sylvester Stallone!
