B-town actress Deepika Padukone welcomed fame early in her life, being the daughter of badminton champion Prakash Padukone. Also he got to travel places early in her life, as most importantly she was born in the foreign country, and also it happens to be the best place for her.Talking in depth about her favorite destinations and food, she says, “Since I was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, it is my favourite city. And when I get the time, I love to shop in London and Dubai, that satisfies my shoe fetish. My wardrobe keeps on changing according to the advice of my designers.”“However, I love street shopping. And wherever I go I take time out to shop to my heart’s content. I also love Bhopal. While shooting for Prakash Jha’s Aarakshan I loved the peace and serenity of Bhopal. In the evenings, when the day’s shoot was over, I would love to take a cup of coffee and sit by the window and enjoy the sunset,” she adds.On the food, she reveals, “I always carry homemade food while travelling. I am very fond of south Indian dishes made by mom. And she still worries about my food when I am travelling. In any country, I always look forward to eating at Indian restaurants.”“Recently I travelled by road from Chandigarh to Manali and due to delays, I left my food behind in Chandigarh. Luckily my mother’s advice to my staff saved the day. She had directed my staff to always carry packets of biscuits and these biscuits came as a blessing during the trip,” says Deepika.“I love to go on holidays after a film shoot is done. I also love to go to Bengaluru where my parents live especially because I relish my mom’s dishes. Now since I have my own flat in Mumbai, my parents can join me often,” she concludes.Keep enjoying, girl!

Hence, while auditioning for the role, which took place at film’s star Shahrukh Khan’s residence Mannat, Deepika was apparently dressed in some bright, tacky clothes in perfect sync with her character. Deepika was so into the character that when SRK's daughter Suhana saw the test shots on Deepika's phone, she apparently asked the actress, "Where are you in this?" Later on, Deepika went on to sweetly explain the little girl that she was in those loud clothes. This in itself speaks that Deepika was so much into the character while auditioning that even SRK’s daughter was in fence on which one Deepika really was among the pictures.Meanwhile, buzz also has that Jaipur court has asked police to register a case against Bollywood director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, actor Ranveer Singh, actress Deepika Padukone and others for allegedly hurting religious sentiments of people in their upcoming movie Ram Leela, a lawyer said.
