Bollywood actress Rani Mukerji shared great rapport with late filmmaker Yash Chopra, and even though it has been one year since his passing, she is still not comfortable talking about him in past tense. "I don't like to talk about Yash uncle in past tense. He is a living legend and will always be there in our hearts and lives," Rani said.The actress was speaking at a function where the inaugural National Yash Chopra Memorial Award was presented to legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar on Saturday. The event was also attended by Chopra’s widow Pamela. "She (Mangeshkar) is the most deserving recipient of the award. They had an emotional connect," said Rani."It has been a year since Yash uncle passed away, but the young generation will remember him through this award and his films. Lataji was down with fever and doctors had advised her rest, but she still came for the function. This speaks volumes about her," concluded Rani with a heavy heart.For those unaware, the award was organised by a foundation led by industrialist-politician T Subbarami Reddy, who has produced Hindi films like Vijay, Chandni and Lamhe.You will always be missed Yashji!

He even attended Roopal's birthday party a month ago, alone. While he told Roopal that he had split with Adaa, he assured the latter that he was not on talking terms with Roopal. It has quite a few years since TV heartthrobs Mohit Sehgal and Sanaya Irani has been seeing each other. All set to be seen in Zee TV’s Qubool Hai, Mohit was asked about his take on working with his real-life girlfriend Sanaya.On this, he said, "We would love to work together again in a show. But when writers pen down characters, they keep our personalities in mind and that hasn't happened yet. We were approached for Nach Baliye last year but it didn't work out then. This year too we were approached but she was busy with Rang Rasiya and I got busy with this show. Maybe next year we'll do Nach Baliye!" Even though the duo is too much in love, still marriage is not in the cards for them. "Not yet. We are both concentrating on our careers at the moment. We want to devote a lot of time to each other when we get married and at this point it's not possible. As and when we decide to get married, of course everyone will know about it." Further, he adds, "When I came to this industry, Sanaya had already been a part of it for some time. I was not aware about the way the industry functioned and she helped me improve my acting skills. Sanaya and I have learnt a lot from each other." We hope there love remains the same forever!

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan must be very proud of his feat as he went on to receive the Hridaynath Mangeshkar award for the third time for his contribution to the film industry. It is learnt that the prestigious award was set to be presented to Big B by great singer Lata Mangeshkar, however, she failed to make it to the event due to health issues, and hence filmmaker Subhash Ghai did the honours. "I got everything in life from Mumbai, my success, my stardom, my wife, my children and now even grandchildren. I am truly proud to be a Mumbaikar as the city has given me the most," Bachchan said after receiving the award. Also, he went on to appreciate Lata Mangeshkar at the ceremony and also promised that next time if he wins the award, he will speak in her mother tongue, which happens to be Marathi. "Lataji has been exceptionally kind to us even in past when she sang for Jaya. Sadly she couldn't make it to today's function due to her illness, yet she apologized which is too humble on her part and status. I am truly honoured by this award," he said. Keep winning, Big B!
