Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif's last romantic sojourn hogged limelight after pictures of their Ibiza stint, her in a mismatched bikini and him in shorts, were leaked. But that does not seem to have deterred the twosome as they are planning a vacation on New Year Eve. This time they are set to usher in 2014 in New York.Their good friends Karan Johar, Ayan Mukerji and Manish Malhotra will also join them in the celebration. According to the little birdie, “Ranbir has wrapped up a small portion of Jagga Jasoos and his schedule is such that personal commitments don't hinder his film. Katrina too has worked out a plan to leave the city in the last week of December. They will be joined by Karan Johar, Ayan Mukerji and Manish Malhotra.”It is known that last year Karan and Manish brought in the New Year in Dubai while Ranbir and Katrina celebrated in the States. However, this time, the whole gang is planning a huge celebration in New York.Anurag Basu’s Jagga Jasoos features Katrina-Ranbir together and has completed first schedule of shooting.

Films capture journeys but in Imtiaz Ali's much-awaited Highway, the journey has made the film. Presented by Sajid Nadiadwala and starring Alia Bhatt and Randeep Hooda, the film traverses six states of north India and captures the landscape of the different regions as it goes along.Highway Diaries, are short video snippets that capture the journey of the film and all the exciting experiences that the cast and crew had during its making.In the latest episode of Highway Diaries titled 'Songs of the Valley', Imtiaz Ali is seen sitting with gujari folk singer Begum Jaan and her group, engrossed in  their music, while shooting for' Highway' at Aru valley in Kashmir. He says, “...while it (the song) should connect with the larger experience that Veera (Alia's character) has in the film, it should still be about that time and place..and its music."The film comes out in February!

Hollywood actor Chris Pine revealed that to play Jack Ryan in Star Trek, he gathered advice from actor Alec Baldwin. For those unaware, initially, Pine, 33, was hesitant about signing Tom Clancy’s famous spy hero in the Jack Ryan franchise reboot.So he went to Baldwin for advice, as the latter starred in the first movie, The Hunt for Red October. "Alec and I were doing voice-overs for an animated film and sometimes we`d meet as one of us was reading or coming in. I saw him one time and I was like a kid, I was like, `Hey, I`m playing Jack Ryan, do you have any advice`?" Pine said."He just grabbed me by the shoulder and said, `Do it. Do it. And don`t let go`. Because he obviously, famously, left to do A Streetcar Named Desire on Broadway," he added. Pine worked really hard for the film, and didn’t come up with simple approach. "I would have been happy making Marathon Man or The French Connection. I would have done a long, slow action-free film and been very, very happy. That`s my personal leaning, but it is 2013 and you`d get a geriatric audience if you didn`t have some kind of fight stuff in there," Pine said."So between my reticence about making it too much like Bourne and Bond, and the inclinations of the studio to make it just that, I do hope we found some place in the middle," he added.We’re glad to say that you prove your mettle very well!

Star-actor Saif Ali Khan is someone who has made his mark in Bollywood without belonging to any camp, and has managed to maintain steady relationship with each and every actor of the industry. Recently he gave the title of his film Yaariyan to T-Series head-honcho Bhushan Kumar.This shows that the actor very well knows the value of good relations. While speaking about the same recently, Divya Khosla Kumar said that it was really kind of Saif to give away his title. "When Bhushan heard the script, he thought Yaariyan would be the apt title for the film but when we checked the title was registered with Saif Ali Khan's company. Bhushan spoke to him and without charging anything, he gave us the title free of cost. That's really generous of him," said Divya.For those unaware, the film, which stars newcomers, will release on January 10. As of now Divya is looking forward to promote the film on TV reality show Bigg Boss Saath-7, which is hosted by superstar Salman Khan. "I know Salman and he is close to Bhushan. I am happy we are going to Bigg Boss to promote the film," she said.The happy actress-turned-director Divya also didn’t forget to credit her hubby Bhushan, without whom she says that the film wouldn’t have been possible. However, the gorgeous actress says she does not regret being unable to make her debut in English film world.“I don't regret it. I had to work out things for Ram Leela here, I couldn't have left the process mid way, and I had given my commitment here first. Looking at the way the film Ram Leela has got response, I feel good as my hard work has paid off,” shares the long less.Deepika, 27, make her plans clear that she is still open to doing films whenever the right offer comes up. “I would love to do a Hollywood film. Porn star Sunny Leone is coming back with her ultra sizzling appearance in Kaizad Gustad’s thriller Jackpot. It would be her second Bollywood film after Pooja Bhatt’s Jism 2. She has also done an item song Leela Teri in Shootout Out Wadala.She has impressed director Kaizad Gustad, who is making his re-entry in filmmaking after a long period. His last film was Katrina Kaif starrer Boom, released in 2003. About working with Sunny Leone, he said, “Excited may be the wrong word. But yes, I'm happy to have worked with her. Sunny is a professional and it was fantastic directing her because she is always trying to give every shot her best. She is always asking questions and I like that about her. I'm blessed to have worked with her.”Producer-turned-actor Sachiin Joshi has been roped in to play opposite Sunny in the film that also features Naseeruddin Shah. About casting, Kaizad said, “I had written the script of Jackpot two years ago in Goa, during the rains. Then I just let it be. Most filmmakers are very possessive about their scripts. I usually leave my first draft sitting for a while. And, then I revisit it. Also, I do not write scripts with an actor in mind. I usually write and then do my casting. Coming to the bit about why Sachiin, well, we met socially and he asked me whether I was working on something. So, I told him about Jackpot. He liked the idea and was ready to roll almost immediately. And, I felt that he suited the role of a street-smart Goan local.”Jackpot is releasing on December 13, 2013.

With world’s sexiest Asain women title for the fourth time, Katrina Kaif, seems getting too big to her moods. Known for her composed nature, something always appreciated by media, she recently came out throwing starry tantrums to all. During a promotional event for a jewellery brand in Dubai everyone got a taste of her mood swings.She kept the organizers and media person rescheduling her commitments until the frustrated media decided to call it a day. If this was not enough, Katrina made it clear that she would not answer any questions on steady date Ranbir Kapoor. The whole drama was followed by a test to her team, “Cancel all my one-on-one interviews.”As per the sources, “The scribes were stumped at this sudden turn of events and many decided to leave. For those who decided to stay back, it was a long wait. The diva made her grand appearance for the press con, scheduled at 2.30 pm, two hours late. It was brief and without meat. Next was a visit to the retail outlets. Katrina sent out another message asking her team to cancel the visit to the third venue because she wasn't happy with the security arrangements there.” The venue was located in the densely populated Meena Bazaar and following her concerns, the security was promptly doubled but the actress still refused to budge from her stand. The drama not ends here. When the day was about to end, Katrina had another change of heart. She messaged her team asking them to call all members of the press back to the first venue at 6.15 pm. By now the journalists had enough of her starry tantrums and when the star reached the venue hardly a handful had turned up, among them a leading TV channel. Spotting it, Katrina went into a tizzy again, stating that she was not prepared for interviews with the electronic media.That’s not appreciated!

Superstar Aamir Khan has always been known as peace lover, and the latest it is learnt that the Dhoom3 actor has got himself a new nest.He has bought an apartment at Carter Road in Bandra. He has been staying in this locality on rent for last few months, as the renovation work is going on at his home in Marina Apartments at Pali Hill. After staying in a Carter Road flat for few months, Aamir and his wife Kiran Rao developed immense liking for the place.The flat is sea-facing, is 5,000 square feet and spread over two floors. Hence, Aamir tried to buy the entire building where his Pali Hill flat is situated. However, disappointment came his way as the residents of other flats were not ready to sell their flats, even though Aamir offered the handsome deal of Rs 80,000 per sqft to move out. However, the flat owners declined the offer.Hence, the chap was left with no option but to buy another apartment in Carter Road. He is hoping that the new place turns out to be extremely luck for him and his family!Aamir’s upcoming film is Dhoom3, and we hope it break all the previous records at the box-office!

At the moment B-town actor Sanjay Dutt is enjoying his time with family as he is on furlough for 14 days from Yerwada Central Prison. However, it is learnt that due to health reasons he is seeking an extension of 14 more days.He has already written an application and the decision would be out today and it will be taken by the Mumbai police, a senior officer from the prison department said. For those unaware, Dutt is facing 42-month sentence under the Arms Act in the 1993 Mumbai blasts case.However, he came out of prison on furlough by the state prisons department on October 1. Now his leave period ends on October 15, and he is expected to surrender on October 16 as furlough excludes the period of travel.Meanwhile, not only Dutt, but every prisoner has the right to seek extension of leave for two weeks, however, one must mention ailment reason in the application, as only then will it be considered a police report is sought afresh. Also going by the manual, only one extension can be granted. Sources from Yerwada jail said that they have received the actor’s application. "Dutt has also attached medical certificates with the application. We have asked for a report from police. We expect it by Monday. We will decide after we get it," the officer said.Let’s wait for the decision to come out today!

Many a times, we have heard about an actor getting injured while shooting for a film.Last it was Hrithik Roshan, who had received a head injury while shooting for his upcoming film Bang Bang. Now latest to fall victim is singer-turned-actor Ali Zafar, who received severe cuts on his left cheek while shooting stunts scenes in Bangkok.  It is learnt that he was shooting for a television commercial for a multinational brand, when he cut his face and was rushed to the hospital. As luck would have it, he didn’t receive any serious injuries, and he made his way to the sets after doctors stitched up his cut. Sources say that earlier Ali’s body double had to perform the stunts, but he didn’t resemble the current long-hair and French beard Ali is sporting. Hence, Ali decided to do it himself, and in turn, he injured his face. Fortunately things are under control now, and we wish the actor speedy recovery!

She is down with viral fever and doctors advised her bed rest.As per the sources Katrina Kaif is on very heavy antibiotics and is currently avoiding the camera due to the adverse reaction of the medicines on her face. “She has not been keeping well and was advised complete rest. She was down with viral fever and the strong dose of medicines had an adverse reaction it led to swelling on her face,” said sources.Apart from shooting of her upcoming films titled Bang Bang and Dhoom 3, the shooting dates of her endorsements have been affected due to her illness. “As Bang Bang and Kabir Khan’s film shoot has been pushed ahead, she had time on hand to complete some of her brand assignments before November. But now she has decided to finish dubbing for Dhoom 3 instead,” added sources close to the actress.Does it mean the actress has also missed her secret vacations with her alleged beau Ranbir Kapoor in New York? Speculations were rife of late that Kareena Kapoor Khan was set to get paired up with her Bodyguard co-star Salman Khan yet again for one of the most awaited films, to be directed by Sooraj Barjatya.With the movie, Salman is coming back with Sooraj Barjatya after the gap of 14 years, as they last worked together in Hum Saath Saath Hain. Earlier reports said that actresses from Diana Penty, Katrina Kaif, Anushka Sharma, Parineeti Chopra to Ileana D’Cruz were approached for the role.And latest the sources claimed Salman has recommended his co-star of films like Mr. and Mrs. Khanna, Kyunki, and Bodyguard for the movie. It was also said that she has already been signed for the same, however, the further reports from sources has that the rumours are not true at all."There is no truth in it. We have not finalised anyone yet. Lot of speculation is happening over who the heroine will be but we are yet to finalise things. In a month's time, we would decide," sources said. The makers are yet to set the title of the film, which would go on the floors in June next year. The shooting might take place in Mumbai, Gujarat and Rajasthan.

Buzz has that Priyanka, who has a dream to live in sea-facing bungalow, is looking out for property in Bandra to fulfill her dream.According to the sources, “Priyanka is eyeing properties at prime locations like Khar and Bandra, a favourite with celebrities.” The actress had earlier said, “I want a sea-facing bungalow in Bandra. But there aren't any.” Nonetheless, her hunt continues. It seems property investments have lured Bollywood celebrities these days as recently Kangana Ranaut has bought a flat in Bandra, and reportedly Hrithik Roshan is also looking to buy property. “Hrithik is looking at residential areas and will take a call soon,” revealed sources.Priyanka Chopra mainly belongs to Madhya Pradesh, Gwalior. Apart from her flat in Andheri, she has also lived in Lokhandwala Complex. This was followed by her stay in Versova Mumbai. Report stated that at that time when she resided in Versova, she had experienced a nightmare and her house was laterally robbed. She moved out from the complex after that.
