This is a website made by fellow teachers that has ideas for all kinds of things. (For things to do on the first day of school, for things to do on holidays, for service learning so on) The things I like about it is that it comes from people that already used these ideas in the classroom and tell how it worked. It's a good way for fellow educators to help each other and to be inspired by one another.

Teachers can send out assignments via Live Writer to students. And students can submit assigments via Live Writer as well. This takes out the extra step of sending it either as an e-mail, or having to print the assignment all together. A great way to go green, and move away from printing. It is also a great way to integrate technology into the everyday classroom.
This tool can also be used by teachers when assigning group assignments. Similar to our 6 facets assignment with Google Docs, student can share a document with the others in their group. Once they have collaboratively worked together to complete the assignment, they may then share it with the teacher to turn it in.
Really neat site that shows videos that are relevant to teaching.

You tube for teachers! Here you will find videos posted by teachers to aid in their instruction. Some stuff is really good, others not so much, but as with anything on the net you have to spend some time browsing. Great resource if you are not inclined to do your own video!
This website offers some fun acitivies and visual aids to include in the lesson for a german class. I could either use things from the website or build ideas of my own by just taking a look.

this website tells stories of teachers all over the states that have gotten in trouble with the schools they teach at by saying things on facebook that they thought were private to their friends. These stories make you think and realize that facebook is more than just a social place to find friends and keep in contact with them. We must be careful with what we say on the internet these days. You never know who is reading what you post.
