Love or hate gaming, this Sony advert properly captures the very essence of video games. It's about the experiences. It's about the memories. Video games allow a person to, even briefly, become someone else, and enter their life and see a different world. Link, Ghost, and Gordon Freeman all become part of a gamer's narrative with just as much consequence as Tom Sawyer or The Hardy Boys.

Along with the Launch of Mafia Wars 2, Zynga has managed to get a new 270,000 square feet of space in San Fran. The place was decorated by some guy called the "Minister of Cool", who led internal Zynga teams focused on intergrating unique lighting, interior design and functionality. This includes a laser tube doorway, random dog bowls, and many other weird things.

Second bad news for Sony today.  Following the hack attempts at three of their networks, the company today announced [JP] that it will recall a total of 1.6 million BRAVIA LCD TV sets sold in Japan and other regions. The problem is a backlight component inside the TVs that could overheat and make the upper casing melt.

The launch of Sony's new handheld console Vita in Japan is just two months away (December 17), so it's about time big S made some official announcements regarding software prices. In a nut shell, the first batch of titles will not be sold for cheap.

We already know that YouTube is seeing 3 billion videos viewed per day day, but now the online video giant is now seeing a whopping 800 million people per month visiting the site, Google revealed in its third-quarter earnings report last week. And today, YouTube is also announcing the ability to sell merchandise, tickets and more via the site.

TItle pretty much sums it up. Now you can buy merchandise, event tickets and digital downloads through youtube. I think this will help make youtube more popular and help them make money off of it because more than 800 million people per month visit the site and 3 billion videos are watched per day.

Who doesn't love Facebook, twitter, and/or Google? Are you looking for work and love computers? Does this sound like a really bad infomercial? Yes, but that's not the point. there are, as expected, perks to working at Twitter, Google, Facebook, or even companies like LinkedIn and others. Wait, what? Samsung is telling Japan AND Australia to ban sales of the iPhone 4S. Wow. Okay. So, the story goes like this: Samsung's lawyers are saying that Apple is stealing mobile tech. Nothing's happening though, except for Samsung racking up a huge legal bill. Maybe Apple gives some ultimately useless licensing concessions. Just end it, already, Samsung. Just. Let. It. Go.

He mentions something about Hewlett Packard, as he stated that they had created such an excellent company, but now it's being dismembered and destroyed, and he didn't want that to happen to Apple the same way. You may think cellphones are harmless, but think again. Cellphones do emit radio frequency energy. The National Cancer Institute explains points on how to avoid this. You could use a hands-free kit and don't spend a long period of time on your phone near your head. This is especially for the people who spend a long time talking to someone on the phone. This has no link between having a cellphone and tumours in the brain or nervous system. Therefore, people who own phones should not take a long time when talking to somebody and when driving, use a bluetooth or put your phone on speaker.

When Microsoft launched Windows Phone last year, I was of the opinion that it was a platform that would never build steam. The entrenched players - iOS, RIM, and Android - already controlled the market, and the hiatus between the last Windows Mobile phone and the first Windows Phone was too long for even the most dedicated or curious customers to wait. According to buyers and reviews, the windows phone had everything pleasing about from display to run times and lets not forget the interface. The reason windows didnt sell so many of their phones was because the time between windows phone left a big gap and many people were just simply not interested

Microsoft this morning announced that it has closed its $8.5 billion acquisition of Skype, a deal that was originally announced back in May. They even made an infographic to showcase the importance of the deal completion. /sarcasm Other than that, not much news to report. As previously announced, Skype becomes a new business division within Microsoft, and Skype CEO Tony Bates will assume the title of president of the new unit.

With Apple rich, they don't need to spend their money on new inventions for the Apple store to sell. If you compare Apple to Google and Microsoft you can tell that Google and Microsoft work their butts off spending more money to think of ideas on what to invent. While they're thinking and overworking their minds, Apple is increasing in stocks and money. 

So the man who made the Artificial Intelligence research possible dies at 84. Thanks to him, we see bots in gaming and Siri actually. He will be missed.

The age of robots is coming near. Japan's Defense Ministry creates a ball shaped drone that can fly vertically and horizontally. It can also fly through narrow spaces. It goes at a max speed of 60km/h. If you throw a rock at it, don't think it will stop flying or go off balance because it won't thanks to three gyro sensors in its body. It even rolls on ground too. It only costed about $1400 US dollars in total because it was made from SPARE PARTS.
