Though Twitter, Google+, and Facebook are all relatively the same (in that they are social networking sites), they are radically different. Facebook and Google+ take into account your identity, but Twitter doesn't. Both Facebook and Google+ tell you specifically who all users are, but with Twitter you can remain anonymous, use a pseudonym, or create a fake account based on someone else, so long as its indicated. Essentially, all social networking sites are different, and the user can choose which one to join based on personal preferences.

Sprint has long been Android territory, but today everything changes. There's still about 24 hours left until the brand new, super snappy, personal assistant-equipped iPhone 4S is available for pre-order, but the yellow carrier has put the iPhone 4 up for pre-order this morning.

Best Buy is preparing for the fleet of customers that will be coming in for the iPhone 4S. they have just recieved their order and are awaiting the mass of loyal apple customers that will be coming. But dont worry just in case you find the iPhone 4S a little pricey they still have made other large orders of iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS. Nowadays many of us go online believing that we are safe and that we have our own privacy in our own home while we chat with our friends or while we do research, but not in this instance. In some German states authorities admitted to using spyware in the form of a Trojan. These authorities are allowed to use spyware to keep track on criminals but are only allowed to use these to allow for a smooth capture not for pleasure as they were doing. This Trojan takes control over your computer this Trojan gives the creator access to your email, monitor your keystrokes, turn on the microphone, and the webcam. What would your reaction be if you found out that this was going on to you and our computer?

Blackberry users are mad. And why shouldn't they be? RIM went down. RIM is what MAKES Blackberrys. The outage that lasted more than three days has now been resolved, and to make amends for it, RIM does not only apologize, but also offers 12 free apps. Woo hoo. But, there is also a month of free technical support. So, there is something to gain. Millions of customers worldwide were left without access to various apps, email, etc. Is this a big enough apology?

After a BlackBerry service outage that lasted more than three days, RIM is trying to make fix their mistakes  by offering them a selection of premium apps for free, as well as one month of free technical support. The RIM service outage was the biggest one they have ever had, and alot of customers are starting to switch, but RIM ensures this will never happen again... yeah right...

All Blackberry users including myself were all ticked off after the 3 day service outage. As an apology, RIM (company that makes Blackberrys) decided to offer 12 free apps for Blackberry users. (Bejeweled, Texas Hold'em Poker 2, Bubble Bash and Shazam Encore) On top of that RIM has given us one month of technical support. I admit that RIM is trying hard to get back on track but sadly this isn't going to keep customers from switching phones. :$

Huzzah! Siri has been released! And.....it's "still a work in progress," as Mashable puts it. Siri is now on all iPhone 4S 's and it's very convenient. But, it's still in the works - sometimes it doesn't respond, or get exactly what you want it to. But I suppose, what can you expect when there's still more work to do. Apple is assuring that it will be continuously improved. It is clever, you have to admit. The future looks good, as long as they can upgrade and improve Siri as well as possible.

Relating the DS to Lady Gaga. Interesting. Anyways, the DS has gone through so many changes in its lifespan. I for one know that the one I had became obsolete months later, and that was annoying. So I sold it. But the opposite is happening for Nintendo. Apparently, DS sales have skyrocketed, but the 3DS sales have decreased shockingly. Why is that, exactly? Probably because Nintendo will now face some competition. Even after the huge price cut, they've only sold have a million units. Team Nintendo!

The Wii is so five years ago. But, could this bring it back? There is a possibility, which is exactly what the people at Nintendo jumped on. The new and improved Gamecube-free Wii is coming to North America. Not only that, but it comes with a copy of New Super Mario Bros. Wii, the Super Mario Galaxy soundtrack (wow I've always wanted this) and is designed to lie on its side. The new Wii refresh has been advertised in Europe for around $150, so no big price drop. However, there is a twist to this story, folks. The old and Gamecube-compatible Wii will remain available, at the SAME  $150 price tag. So, really. What's the point? Making it the same price is only going to confuse people, and sales might not be as high as they want. 

Meet Chime.in, the web's latest social network. It immediately seems appealing to people, but that's probably because it seems familiar. Chime.in combines the sharing quality of Twitter and the blogging of Reddit. It's kind of like a hybrid super-social network. It also has a little bit of Facebook in its parentage too - it has something similar to status updates - "chimes," which are a combination of status updates and blog posts. The character limit? 4000. But the big thing is, users have control over their profiles, including the advertising and sponsors that show up on their pages, while also being able to put up their own ads and keep 100% of the revenue. I personally would like to see how this plays out in our vast and quickly changing world of technology.

As we all know global warming and pollution are two big problems in this generation. Well two companies in Montreal and Maryland are trying to help this issue. Global warming is probably one of the biggest problems we are going through and the best solution fo this would be to stop using our cars to travel short distances, but most of us know we won't be able to do that. These two companies realize this and are trying to allow us to use our cars but also help with global warming in a major way. They are trying to use common waste materials from landfills heating it up to 750 degrees Fahrenheit and then using that energy to power something or to heat things up. I believe that this will go very far especially because people cant live without their own cars.  

Now when a Video Game is released, there is always DLC (Downloadable Content) to be released shortly after, but almost 50% of gamer's don't want to buy them, and the top reason is Security. And this tells why, according to Wired but personally I think that 1. That people are scared to buy anything online due to a recent oopsie when PSN got hacked, plus according to Inside Gaming at Machinima.com is that Xbox live got hacked two. And 2 is why wont they just go to a store and buy a points card at a store, they cant be THAT lazy...right?

It's a bird! No, it's a plane! No, it's the world's first "Spherical Flying Machine," brought to you by Japan, the place where all the cool stuff seems to come from. Remember in Star Wars: A New Hope, when Luke Skywalker was practicing Jedi Lightsaber skills on a small, flying sphere that could hover and move quickly in every direction? Well, Japan's Ministry of Defense seems to have brought Jedi training balls to the world. Mostly driven by remote controls, the sphere utilizes a combination of propellers and wings to hover, fly in all directions at up yo 60 kph and can even move along the ground and walls. They created this ball to solve a problem they were having with aircrafts (they can apparently stand up vertically after flying horizontally, but take-offs and landings were "difficult," as one could have imagined). It is not known whether they will market the flying ball or not, but this is certainly a huge leap forward in the field of robotics, as well as flying. 

Maybe this has nothing to do with computers, but you really should take a look and think about this. Make your own costume for Halloween. It's more creative, original, and more fun, plus it'll save you money, and maybe you're saving up for the new iPhone . Nothing to do with technology, but it could help in the long run. I think. 

Christopher "moot" Poole, creator of 4chan and Canvas, talks at the web 2.0 summit on identity and the average person's persona on the web. According to him, social networking sites like Facebook think problems with security lie in who we share with, but Poole says that it's really our jobs to monitor the person we portray ourselves to be online. He says Facebook misrepresents people, making us think that a person's personality can be generally summed up in a name along side a photo. Poole praises Twitter for doing the exact opposite. We can't just blame companies like Google and Facebook for skewing our online image, because we are the ones who are abusing it by posting too much information anyways. But in the end, it's up to us to be careful what we post online.

We now see what Steve Jobs was truly like, what kind of a man he really was. The authorized biography of the genius's life by Walter Isaacson quickly rose to the top of the charts after being released on Monday, and many are finding it hard to resist. This biography unveils many a thing about Steve Jobs that the general populace might not have known before. For instance, and this is really weird, Jobs believed that deodorant was useless, and his vegan diet would make him smell nice enough. Huh. Well, geniuses usually have quirks. But, after all the contributions he made to the world of technology and advancements, has it any meaning that he didn't use any deodorant? Weird, but still. Once again, so long, and farewell, Steve Jobs. 

Best Buy is having a sale on the HP's TouchPad tjhat barley survived the first month of putting their product out to the public. But now if you buy a HP computer for only $149 you can get a TouchPad. What I don't understand is if it barley made a month of sales what makes anyone think that they will be able to sell the HP TouchPad's? 

Google Reader is a useful tool to help keep readers updated on current news. Google is updating this "long-ignored RSS app", giving it a new, modern design but removing the social features of this site. The problem? The social aspect of this site is not as in-your-face like Facebook, but instead enables your friends to keep you updated on things that you may not be subscribed to in Google Reader. The writer of this article even accuses Google of taking away the social features on Google Reader to drive people to Google +, which sadly, I can see them doing. Haha, nice try Google.

did you ever need a plug to charge your phone but cant find one? well as long as you're outside and the sun is shinning, you can use a solar powered charger. this charger is still a prototype but it is expected sometime in the future. its really convenient to have this because you actually dont need to pay for the electricity. all you need is the sun and you are set. this type of technology is available for pre sale price of 400 dollars.

Choosing a career is easy but to be sure of its existence in future is pretty difficult. If you look decades back from now, you must have noticed a number of careers that existed but have become obsolete now. However, there are certain careers that are likely to exist in coming years regardless of economic situation or changing business requirements.

This website article is for those who do not know what the movie Dredd is about, especially parents.  So here's the summary.  Dredd originated from the hand of John Wagner and his artist Carlos Ezquerra.  It's set in the future where nuclear fallout limits the population to live in Mega Cities.  The police in these cities are called Judges so that they are Judge, Jury and Executioner to save the hassle.  Parents would like this movie.  This movie is rated R/18 because of swearing, murder, drug use, sexual situations and blood.  The cast is amazing because they stay true to their roles.  The effects give you a very immerse experience.  The 3-D isn't really necessary but it absolutely mesmerizes you at certain points in the film.  This website article will answer most of your questions about the movie Dredd and if you still have questions then google it.
