1.my favorite work we did this year was EQ because I really picked up alot of things that i do now to help me when im in some situations.
2. I think the assignment that meant the most to me was the 50 word short stories. they were a challenge but at the same time were very fun to write.
3. Everyone are from unique places and its kinda cool to hear about the little things that are important to them and remind them of home.
4. 5 paragraph essays really taught me how to self correct. before i came to hyde i would rarely ever read over my work before i passed it in. and that is a big part of how the 5 paragraph essays helped me.
5. I became a speaker just when i learned to stand and deliver and command the room.
6.i need to work on getting my work done on time and doing a better job participating in class.

the main ideas of english 11 was the idea of the rebel spirit And it just was to appreciate life. my favorite video we watched was the jelly bean one because it really made it clear that you need to live your life and life it to the best that you can. do things that make you happy and feel good and find someone you love. life is short so make every day count.

he talks about how teenage brains are diffrent and they way they are set up. we act solely off our emotions and it takes some time before we actually start to think and are able to deal with the issue.and teens and adults are diffrent because the adults still do get effected by emotional reactions but are able to move through it quicker and get past it. When i get into a situation like this my emotions defiantly get the best of me and thats when i make stupid decisions and say things that i regret later.

Overcoat by Gogol was criticizing the time and the way peoples lives were based on material things not who they actually are or what they do. Akakiy is a person who works very hard and takes alot of pride in his work. he is constantly was ridiculed by the people he worked with for his job and his overcoat. so he eventually saved up and bought a new coat and people start to look at him differently. satire was used because they were showing the value of the material things not the actual person and their character.

sammy quit his job because he was scared of what he was to become. He looks at Lengel and realizes that stoaksie is slowly turning into lengel and he is scared. he also did it to impress the girls but quickly realizes that there was no point because they were not waiting for him and none of them cared.

each event in the story represents a diffrent part of the seal and i feel that it shows that if anyone messes with them they will be punished.

I think he is saying that you the world isnt fair because he is saying that he made it so far and was so close yet still fail. they make it to view of land and the oiler who know ther most and dosent deserve to die dies.

I think that he is hurt because he was stood up and he really had feelings for her but she didnt feel the same way about him, and think that he notices that and will get over it and realize its not the end of the world.

I still remember my first crush. I was in seccond grade and it was the end of the school day i was sitting out in front of the lower school waiting for my brother to pick me up. i remember as my brother pulled up in his car seeing a beautiful blonde sitting in the front. as i climbed into the car i began to sweat and get very nervous. that was when my brother told me that the blonde god sitting in the front seat was his girlfriend.I was in a daze i couldn't even muster up enough words to respond. the whole ride home i was thinking about how im in love.
