Americans have always fought over the use of the death penalty and whether or not it is humane. Different methods for this have been argued and changed for centuries.

Everyone knows that men and women dress differently. Typically, women dress more provocatively than men. However, people sometimes have to deal with naked civilians. Sometimes people go too far and that is why some stores, restaurant, etc., are strict on wearing shirts (for guys or girls), or shoes and so on.

A lot of controversy comes up on the matter of spanking children. A growing number of parents are using rather calm approaches to their kids misbehaving. Yet, many still spank their children and unfortunately, some do more. In public, though, it is a different story. Most people these days feel uncomfortable spanking their children in public because they feel like they're being judged.

The legal drinking age for the U.S. should be lowered if the situation is being supervised in certain environments. Many drink underage to "rebel" against society norms so lowering the age would not call for such rebellion. Binge drinking would not take place if environment is being supervised.

I agree and don't think it is any different than teaching young adults how to have safe sex if they choose to have sex. If someone is going to choose to drink at 18, 19, or 20 or 40 for that matter they should be held responsibile for their actions at any age. Why do the laws say purport that a person is an adult at age 18, can drive at age 16, but can't drink until 21? I think it's hypocritical to say someone is an adult at age 18 BUT, you can't drink until your 21.

There is an organization in Illinois that stands up for smokers in that state. Some think that by banning smoking in some bars and resturants will hurt the business not help. Garnet Scheuer, chair person, believes that it should be up to the private business owners to decide whether they should have smoking allowed in their establishment not the state itself. He believes that there is no difference between a smoker and non smoker rights. A smoker should have the same rights!

This article is about how grade children are picky eaters and how some will not have a problem with eating different healthy foods. Many children have their certain routine on flavors they like to taste which will be much more difficult for them to change their food habits. It should not make the parent or anyone else believe they will not be able to accomlish healthy habits for the child, the parent or whoever will need to be strict when wanting to change foods to healthier foods.

A study done on adopted children should that they were the same whether adopted by a same sex couple or a heterosexual couple. It found there are no differences between the children adopted by same sex couples and the heterosexual couples.

I agree with your statement. It should ultimately be a women's choice and not let politicians decide a woman's decision. Everyone has a right to decide what is best for them without controversies and looking down at.
